Benny - Maltese Chihuahua Mix

Benny was a stray for at least 9 weeks in the dead of winter in Kansas City. She returned to a store every night to keep warm by the pipes to sleep. The owner of the store had problems catching her so one night when he spotted her he called me to come help catch her. When I arrived I saw her and sat down on the ground and she ran right up to me and jumped in my lap. After posting pictures, sending out a Lassie Alert, checking to see if she was chipped, and searching missing dog posts for hours on end it looked like finding her owner was not likely. She now is a permanent addition to our household and we are lucky to have her. I'm a teacher and she loves coming to school with me. She does great with kids and they all love showing her affection. She is a great addition to our family.:)

So wonderful you found her...have the same breed amazing how different they look she has the coloring of my sisters dog bobbylee who is brother to my dogs....enjoy her
