A Puff from Heaven

Bridgette came into our lives 13 years ago, she was with my wife and I when our daughter went to the Peace Corps. She was my sunshine, a sparking jewel of kindness and love. Everyone that looked upon her just melted. I believe she could have brought world peace.


It is hard to say how a delicate little white dog could touch your heart in such a way, but she did, and every day she was with us was a little happier because she was there. She loved playing and shaking her toys. She loved sitting beside me on the sofa and watching television. She loved food, especially fresh green beans.

She was a Godsend when we needed her most. Today she went back to God, and I cried, a 6'5". 300 pound giant cried at the grocery store, in my living room. I was lucky to have her all these years, I miss her badly, but I know she loved me, and she knew I loved her, it is hard now, but it is so worth the love.
