Mr. Bill as a puppy
Mr. Smith is the most wonderful dog in the world! My Chihuahua x Maltese is so friendly and smart. Teaching him tricks is sooo easy. He loves my family and other pets. He is great with children of any age. My Malchi is the kindest and smartest dog. He wants to be everyone's friend and he always succeeds at that. Everyone he meets wants to take him home with them. BUT a bad haircut really shows on him... A good haircut, and he's the cutest dog in the world.

Harlow is a female Chihuahua x Maltese, 3 1/2 years old and the biggest lover. Ever since I adopted her, she has always wanted to be held and loved. She is very territorial and only loves me. When any strangers come near me, she automatically goes into defense mode and barks at the top of her lungs till they go away. She whines when I leave to go to work and right when I get home, she is perky and showers me with kisses and love. She also loves to cuddle. I just love her so much, she has changed my life!

We collected 'Pickles' 8 days ago at the age of 8 weeks. We had no idea what a Maltese Chihuahua cross adult would be like until today when we found your site. 9 months ago we bought a Malti-jack female puppy who is adorable, everyone wants her!! The temperament of the Maltese is so great we knew that any puppy with this breed in them would be a good dog. 'Pickles' has shown already in eight days that she loves her cuddles, creeps up to the neck, same as my other Maltese cross. She gets on with my pregnant Pomeranian and teacup Yorkie, ragdoll cat and persian cat, oh yes and 'Harry' the hamster! She has learned very quickly to do all her toilet on the paper mat and stands up for herself with the others.
She has a claim to fame too. Her half sister lives with 'Gywneth Paltrow' and family, her name is 'Daffodil'. We often call our baby nick-names 'pickled onion' or the one i like is 'pickle-lily'. We were told that Pickles mum is a Maltese, and the father was a stud teacup Chihuahua. We do plan to breed when the time comes.

When I purchased my Chihuahua x Maltese Emma as a puppy I was told she was a Chihuahua. As a puppy she looked like a Chihuahua but as she grew older it was clear she was mixed with another breed. One day I stumbled upon a picture of a Malchi and new instantly Emma was indeed a Malchi. She has very typical Malchi behaviours. She is extremely smart, having learned all her tricks within 5 minutes of being taught. I love my Chihuahua x Maltese so much and can't imagine life without her :)

My Chihuahua x Maltese mix is very active toy dog, wherever I go she follows. She was very easy to potty train. I think she's a highly intelligent Maltese mixed breed. Loves all the attention she gets, excellent with kids and a big plus in my book sheds next to nothing.

My little girl is a teacup Maltese x Chihuahua. I have had her since the 14th June. She is 10 weeks old, and weighs 2lb. She has had a clear bill of health from vet. Maltese Chihuahua mixes are very intelligent dogs, it took me 4 hours to show her how to wee n poo on the puppy pad, now she goes on everytime she wants to. She sleeps upstairs in her basket and never was from going to bed at 11pm until we get up at 6.45am. We bring her down and put her straight on to the puppy pad and she does a wee and poo, so very clever. My teacup Malchi even comes to me when she has finished and waits to have her botty wipped with a pamper wipe before she sits down. She never barks unless somebody rings doorbell or she wants to come on my knee. I highly recommend these Maltese mix dogs, but from a good breeder with papers and view parents first. Don't use crating websites they are scammers and they'll get your money but never get the dog, especially from Cammaroon. For a clean bill of health one that is well bred I would reccomend not paying under £300 but that is just my opinion.

Pixel (and Chip) on the day we brought her home
We were so in love with our little Malchi, "Chip" that we decided to add a little girl to our family. This time, I picked out a little purebred maltese girl that we aptly named "Pixel"... for her size, as well as for the fact that it matches with "Chip". (Our little 5 yr old neighbor calls her "Pickles", and what better to go with a sandwich than chips and pickles... so that has become her nickname and our african grey parrot takes turns calling her both!)
Pixel came to us at 8 months old, full of worms and ear-mites. She weighs a whopping 2.2 lbs, even now at 14 months old. She also had problems with her teeth, but after $1600 worth of dental surgery and with daily brushing, our little Malchi has a much better long-term prognosis for keeping her teeth. (Thanks to Dr. Stanley Blazejewski in Malvern, PA for taking such wonderful care of her!)
Now that her medical issues have been worked out, I can say that she is such a wonderful dog. We love our Malchi, and couldn't have asked for a better compliment to our family!

Cooper is a 6 month old Maltese Chihuahua cross and pretty much runs the household. He stole my heart the moment I saw him at 2 weeks.
To my surprise, he was fully potty trained at 8 weeks! He sits, lays down, dances, and gives you "five" on command. He has recently been trained on a leash and brings it to me the minute I walk in the door every afternoon.
Is he spoiled? Yes! He sleeps with my husband and I every night. (Pictures available upon request! lol)
I can honestly say he was the BEST present EVER!

Zoe is a very sweet and a little spoiled Maltese Chihuahua cross. There are a couple of things in particular that Zoe loves and that is to sleep in bed with me and getting dressed.
She is currently pregnant and it being her first litter. Her due date is Feb 22nd, 2009. Before her condition, she played with our other dogs and ran around like a spaz, but now she is more reserved. Her personality is very sweet; but she can also be very moody, at least around the other dogs. I found that her breed is unique when it comes to potty training. When potty training, some people may get inpatient and may scolded a puppy if they make a mistake, but you can not do this with Malchi's. Zoe will go all day if she has been scolded.
We live out in the country so she is not allowed to go outside alone due to the coyote's and owls, but Zoe sure loves to stand outside when it's windy allowing her hair to blow.

Gizmo the Maltese x Chihuahua, is a ball of energy. His birthday is actually on Valentine's day and he'll be 2 this Feb.
He has so much personality and he is constantly around us. He's been known to go into hyper mode and run laps around our coffee table.
He's good with other dogs and has a Pomchi (Pomeranian/Chihuahua) brother that he is attached at the hip to. He's a very loyal dog and loves to be around his mom and dad.
