Piki is just turning a year old; our female Maltese Pekingese mix was born on 12/27/11. We have had her for 8 months. She is a loving and very loyal dog. She seems more attached to her adopted mother, Olga, than anyone. Piki is a real people dog, loves to meet everyone she sees, she always gets excited when meeting new people. She loves to give kisses and will lick you to death. She is very good at playing fetch and has tons of energy. Like I have read our Maltese Pekingese mix is a very stubborn buy very loyal dog. If she doesn’t want to go for a walk, she will not go for a walk. We have been trying to teach her to shake hands but that has not been going well. She will sit/stay on command. She has been housebroken; it took about 6 months, 10 months old, to really not have any accidents. In the description on this site they say “they usually aren't that active indoors", I do not agree with that. Our Pekatese is always running around and constantly wants to play. She never runs out of energy. Piki has a black face with white/brown on the rest of her body. At 1 year old she is now about 10.8 lbs.

Bubbles is a Maltese Pekingese married to a Shitzu Casper. Together they have had 11 healthy pups. Bubbles has loved her babies and children and even licks them clean, making sure every ones eyes are clean. Bubbles has congestive heart failure of the left Mitral valve and a murmur we found out recently, she was excessively panting and having seizures since taking her to the vet.... Frudix and Vetmedin were prescribed and shes doing better and the seizures have stopped. She is so brave, loving and loyal we will miss her when the time comes to say good bye.

My Maltese Pekingnese mix Missy passed away at 14 years old, her kidneys failed . She was the most loving dog ever a real true lap dog , but she was a energetic , full of fun dog. I miss her so badly. She was very smart and very loyal. I just wanted to share her picture with other Maltese Pekingnese mix owners and let them know that these little dogs are the best small dogs in this world. They are perfect companions and they give years and years of love and happiness.

Sarah is my little dog. She is almost three years old and is a female Maltese Pekingese mix. She is very playful and obnoxious, but when tired, the only thing she wants to do is cuddle up into a ball on your lap. She is the best dog anyone could ask for.

Baby is a 12 year old Maltese Pekingese cross and super strong, loyal, cute, and of course cuddly. She'll do anything for a treat and is extremely loud. She enjoys sleeping and occasional walks on the beach. She loves peanut butter! And always sleep in the same room as me and won't sleep unless she's with me. She's extremely sweet, but super mean to other dogs. She loves wearing dresses and taking pictures! Baby is definitely a great dog that is unforgettable once she licks your face.

My Maltese Pekingnese mix Pipsqueek was bottle fed when he was two weeks old. His mother was accidentally strangled on a vine on our fence on Christmas Eve. There were 7 puppies in the litter. Boy was I busy. Even when Pipsqueek was just a baby,he would climb out of their box and come to my bed and want to sleep with me. What a spoiled babe. He is the one I kept. Of course. He teases all the other dogs. My Maltese Pekingnese also loves to pull at my jeans when I wear them. Thank god I live in Florida. Shorts come in very handy. when he was four weeks old he fell off a three inch step and started having a seizure. Vet said he would be ok. He loves to watch me get ready in the mornings. Of course he has to grab something I am going to wear and take off running with it. He just prances through the house with it head held up high. My Pekingnese Maltese mix is my silly willy and my best friend. he is stay ing at my mothers right now as I am moving. Don't have all the deposits to move him in yet. Two more weeks. I can not hardly live without him. Two more weeks. Can't wait. Best dog I ever had!!!!!!!!

Lacey was born to a female Maltese and a male Pekingese. The mother was very energetic, courageous, loud and very protective. Her father was the complete opposite, being very relaxed, quiet, lovable, loyal and down to earth! Lacey got the best of both worlds! When it comes down to it she has all the traits stated above. My female Maltese Pekingese mix is down to earth, quiet and lovable, but is also energetic and courageous at times. She has patches of brown on her face which she gets from her father, and the rest of her coat is a nice white, like her mothers. She sheds a little a bit, but not a lot. She is slightly bigger than her mother, but much smaller than her father. Lacey is special because she has a great combination of the Maltese and Pekingese personality. When she goes out on walks people are fascinated by her, and she is very friendly! Pek-A-tese are definitely a good dog many should take into consideration! They are full of energy, kindness, and loyal.
