I got my Lhatese or Maltese Lhasa mix pup about a week ago. The person I got him from sold the pup tome for 150 dollars. She had already de-wormed him. Days later I saw that he had worms in his stool. We went to the vet and gave him some shots. He seems to be ok now. This morning I woke up and saw that his paw was hurting.
I have to go the vet today for his last shot, so will ask her about it.
So far, It is a joy to have him, he's only 8 weeks old and he still needs to be housebroken. I have to clip his nails, and trim his fur around the eyes.
I plan on taking goooood care of my cute Lhasa mix puppy. I'll be posting some pictures.
All the way from the island of Aruba.

Gizmo, one of the cutest Maltese Lhasa mix dogs, is a beautiful little fellow. He looks more like a Lhasa Apso than a Maltese. He is brindle on his back with black around his eyes and muzzle, lots of all the colors (white, brindle and black tips) on his ears. His underbelly and legs have lots of white on them and the most gorgeous blond full tail.
He loves and claims everyone he sees and never forgets a single person he meets. In fact, they are all our family, even the tv or computer repair persons.
Our Maltese Lhasa mix is a lover, and has to know where my husband and I are 24/7. He will lay on one of our laps and then go to check the other and lay with them for awhile.
He is so full of personality, you'd swear he is human and you can tell him to go find nearly anything, and he goes right to it. He has a fenced in play yard down 4 steps off our back portch/patio.
Our Maltese Lhasa needs a playmate. Preferably, boy who is around his age and extremely used to people and children. He thinks every dog and cat, no matter what size, is his play friend.
We cannot to afford a show dog, and would take a rescued one, if it is used to children and hasn't developed bad habits in potty training.
Thanks for your help.

Lexy is almost two years old now and she's one of the greatest Maltese Lhasa mix dogs. She's really energetic and lovable; she wouldn't hurt a fly. She tends to get really playful, but sleeps like a baby.
She is really close to our family; she gets depressed if I'm not at home at night and she can't sleep in the bed with me. She tends to sit on her butt like a mere cat. She also pounces and uses her hands like a cat would.

Bear, my Maltese Lhasa mix, is almost a year. He is very smart, great with my grandchildren and the best little watchdog.
He was easy to potty train and very clever. He loves to play with his squeak toys and fetch. I have never been fond of male dogs but Bear stole my heart.

My Lhasa Maltese mix is the best dog I've ever had. He's loving, playful, smart. 13 but doesn't know it. Big for the breed, was the only puppy in the litter. He's my little companion.

Charlie is the most amazing dog I have ever had. Charlie will be turning 2 in February 2013. Our Maltese Lhasa mix is so smart. At night when we go to bed he will just sit on the floor and whimper and whine because he knows we will lift him up even though he can jump alone when he wants to. He is very spoiled. Charlie loves to lay next to you and be pet, but as soon as your hand leaves his body he will look at you out of the corner of his eyes and give a quiet little bark. If you don't pet him right away his bark will gradually get louder until you either pet him or say his name to be quiet. He is our spoiled little boy and hope he is with us for a very long time.

I just purchased my Maltese Lhasa cross Bailey in the middle of November, and picked him up on November 30th. I believe my beautiful little guy was purchased, then returned to the breeder. He suffers from very high anxiety, so learning to walk on a lead has been difficult, but as they say Rome wasn't built in a day! He ignores his puppy pads, so I have to watch him all the time for signals he has to go. This is okay for number two, but wee wee is troubling.
He is a happy little guy who bonded with me right away, however, he constantly wants to be held, and as we all know, you cannot do that all day, every day. So we have found the couch works well. He now has his puppy bed and all his toys up there, and has begun to learn he will not get a positive response if he jumps up. Just holding up my palm and telling him no seems to be sinking in.
Bailey and I will walk this path together, and it may take some time, but I believe with love and attention he can be socialized and become the loveable little guy he was meant to be.

Our adopted Maltese Lhasa mix, Dave, came from the shelter to us in Sept. of 2011. He was a blessing to us. Our son, Shayne, had passed away the year before and our other children live else where.
Shayne always named his dogs after musicians. He had Zeppelin and Lennon. Shayne loved Dave Matthews, who doesn't.
So Dave it was for us(aka Tucker in the shelter)
Dave is the best dog. Right from the start no accidents and no issues. A huge personality. He seems to smile at us.
Everyone that knows me knows Dave and loves him.
Our Lhasa Apso mix loves to go in the car and he knows when I am going to work because no kisses for me. But when I come all the loving he can muster up I get. He thinks everyone on the street should stop and pet him. He actually sits down and waits for them to stop if he is walking by.
He is very smart and playful. Full of energy. He can be a cuddle bug.
We just love to be with him. We plan many of our trips with him in mind.
Someone's loss was truly our gain.
Our Maltese Lhasa mix is a loyal dog and very well behave.
I believe that he was sent from God to us because we needed a loving dog.

We rescued this Maltese Lhasa - well sort of. She was shown to me by a co-worker and I knew my kids would adore her if she had a good personality, which she does. It amazes me how human she wants to be, funny at times. She is just 4-5 months old we think. You see there were no tags or collar on her. She was found outside in an ally in the city several times. We think she ay have been a Christmas present or something like that and the owner could not potty train her or found out she wasn't a true Maltese breed. Either way I'm not sure how they couldn't want her because she is incredibly loyal and has never tried to run away. We have 2 acres in the country and she always stays by our side when we play in the yard.
At any rate, its time for her spaying and we are torn about this decision, as my kids want to experience the whole puppy magic from the beginning (kids obviously not understanding how much work that will be) and my wife has put her foot down.
Lily likes to play and sleeps through the night. Our Maltese Lhasa is a good fun loving pup.

Max is a Maltese Lhasa Apso mix female. At 7 weeks she's adorable and hyper but loves the lap. I just got her today and she's friendly with my large dogs. She's pure white and cuddly x3. I am 15 by the way and she was around a 2 day old cat and a 2 yr old baby girl and she was perfect around them :) One of the best Maltese mixes you can get id say :D

My Maltese Lhasa mix dogs name is Lucy Lu she's a little love bug. She's the sweetest most loving dog I've ever had. Her favorite place to be is sitting in my lap. She loves playing with my Grandsons who can be a little rambunctious at times but she doesn't seem to mind at all.
She's 2yrs old and only weighs 6.5 lbs and still looks like a puppy. I was surprised at how easy she was to train she's so smart. She can shake paw, dance on her hind legs, and roll over for her favorite treat.I also have a Siamese cat and she gets along great with him.I'm so happy to have this bundle of joy.
