Chico is a playful fun loving male Malchi dog. He is very smart and enjoys playing with kids. He likes going for rides in th car and is protective of his home. Chico is a great dog and we are glad to have this little Maltese Chihuahua mix as part of our family.

Our Malchi is the "poster" perfect dog anyone can ask for. He weighs about 6 lbs and sheds a little
but he is extremely friendly and lovable. He eats very little but can walk for couple of miles without a break. He is fit as a fiddle, no infections or skin problems and hardly needs any grooming.
Being small he is wary of kids and tries to stay safe when we have kids come over but he is most patient and loving with our kid. Our Maltese Chihuahua mix loved the baby the very first time, has been patient and caring as the baby grew up (now 4 yr old). He has converted many "non-dog" people into dog lovers with his persuasive toy like friendliness. Our Malchi is the best dog I have ever seen!

My male Maltese Chihuahua Minitie is nearly six months old. He is tireless and loves to play. He will retrieve a tennis ball all day if you had the time and patience! He is very clever with a soccer sized rubber ball and would make a good goalie!
He was fairly easy to toilet train thanks to my husband's persistance but will still sneak into the garage on a wet day rather than go out in the rain.
My Malchi is very affectionate and hates being left on his own.
His ears still stick up like batman and hope they will drop in time. He has very sensitive hearing which leads to his only bad point which is his barking. He barks at every little noise and hope that once his ears drop his hearing won't be as sensitive.

Giorgio as a puppy
Giorgio is our four-year-old Maltichi. Our Maltese Chihuahua mix weighs almost four pounds and his fur will grow very long (like a Maltese's) if we let it, but we keep him groomed. His veterinarian is always surprised how well his teeth are holding up -- evidently small dogs, particularly maltese, suffer from early tooth and gum disease. Giorgio is sweet and quiet, unless he feels we (his family) are being threatened. Recently, Giorgio was downstairs while the rest of our family (two parents, three kids) readied ourselves to go into the backyard to play. Giorgio began barking and growling loudly. We called to him, but he continued barking enthusiastically and even began scratching the sliding glass doors leading to our backyard. We finally came down to see what the problem was and were greeted by a five-foot long water moccasin (poisonous snake) on our back patio. Giorgio was warning us against going outside. At the time my youngest was 5, and he may not have noticed the snake in his rush to go out and play -- so we credit our Maltichi Giorgio for his heroics that day.

I got my Malchi Oakley about 2 months ago. I always hated little dogs but when I seen him he acted like a big dog. As soon as I seen him I knew I wanted him! I went back 2 weeks later and got him. He has been a great dog. He is now 5 months old housebroke, knows how to sit and we are now working on shaking. He is white and brown and has the perfect light brown marking on his rib cage. He is very lively and loveable, I wouldn't trade him for anything.

My Malchi puppies name is Toby. Unlike usual Malchis, he adores kids. He loves them so much! Toby hates to be alone. We are afraid he had separation anxiety, but now he is doing well even though he whines a lot when I leave the house.
He learned really quickly. He already knows the rules of the house (pee outside and don't touch stuff unless we let him to). Toby knows the basic training after living in our house for about 2 months.
We got Toby when he was about 8 months, on October 13, 2008. Toby has a great personality. Toby never showed aggression. He was never reserved around strangers. Whoever came in the house, would probably get knocked down by our tiny puppy! He jumps, licks and plays with anyone he can. Toby gets 2-3 walks a day. He has a lot of energy. Usually he is calm when we are calm, and hyper when we are hyper.
Toby was a bundle of joy since the day he arrived here from a breeder in Miami, Florida! We are going to make a website for Toby with all his cute and clumsy videos and pics soon. Hopefully I will write it on this website for everyone to see! I also hope to put a picture of Toby soon!

We bought Brodie who is now 5 months old in October 2008 from a lady who said he was a Maltese X Shitzu, seems I've discovered, by pictures on the net, that Brodie is actually a Malchi.
Brodie is very quick to learn things. He can sit and stay, beg and speak. He gets on well with my mothers full bred Maltese, Tasha and also our cat, he is great with the kids too. He is a very handsome boy and very playful. Brodie is very loyal to me and follows me everywhere.
He will bark if he hears a strange noise or someone he doesn't know comes to the door. He's also very fond of the game 'fetch' and running around madly in the backyard. He doesn't like being left to sleep in his own room at night though.
Brodie and my family live in the Southern Highlands of NSW Australia, he's been a great addition to our family.

2 months old
My baby, Only, was born on April 2011. My Malchi is very hyper and loves to give kisses. He's not easy to train, but so far I have taught him how to sit, go to bed, give the paw (handshake), and lay down. Each trick took about 2 weeks for him to learn. My Maltese Chihuahua likes to eat my shoes, and so far he has eaten 3 of my shoes, one of my mothers and one of my friends. That's a total of five shoes. Not to mention the billions of others he didn't completely destroy yet. He also ate my step-father's computer cable, which costed him to buy a new one for $42. Yeah, sure, he's a trouble-maker, but I love him. By the way, his mom was a small Maltese and his dad was a handsome Chihuahua. He grew up so fast. Because of his mom, the Maltese, he looks like an old man. He was perfectly black when I first got him. Now, he's got gray hairs!! My Malchi is such an old cutie!

Ryder's first day home - 8 weeks
Ryder is a precious 1 year and 5 month old male Malchi. His mother was a Maltese and his father was a tri-color long haired Chihuahua. When I first brought home my bundle of love, he was tri-colored and absolutely the most handsome little pup! He grew up to be basically all white with a "dirty" look of some black coloring. Although it wasn't what I expected, he is still the most handsome dog with the happiest, playful personality! I thought when he was a puppy and had his tongue out all the time that was temporary, but still to this day he keeps his tiny little tongue out that makes me smile every single day. He has the cutest beggar's dance when he gets on his hind legs and uses the front ones to paw really quickly to try and get some food. He loves other dogs and people. He likes to climb and lay on the top of couches, on tables, and just be the ultimate explorer. One of his favorite things to do is lay out in the grass for hours in the same spot and just soak up the scenery! He loves walks, but he makes you play with him to get his leash on, "come and get me". Since he was a puppy, he has had a favorite stuffed animal that used to be bigger than him that he carries around the house back and forth between rooms, and at night that now silly, dirty, yellow pony sleeps under his head every night. I love my Malchi and am so grateful that I choose him instead of a purebred Chihuahua. He is so full of life and just so adorable! I love coming home knowing my boy is waiting by the door with his tag wagging as happy to see me as I am him!

Gus is out of a long haired Chihuahua male bred to a Maltese-Chihuahua mix female.
He is wonderful, precious personality, loves everybody and all animals; he will be seven months old at the end of May.
He has long wavy white creamy hair with a golden streak down his back. He is real intelligent and learns really fast. We call his mix a Longhaired Mahuahua.

Rudy is a Maltese mix with Long Hair Chihuahua. His mom is a Maltese and his dad a long hair Chihuahua. He got his mom's looks more than his dad. We got Rudy when he was 4 weeks old. I saw him in the internet (so it was love at first sight) when we took him to the vet they told us he was albino. This is why he has a pink nose and blue eyes. He is a very special dog. We are all so happy and he is a great companion, friendly and lovable dog. He is a very important member of our family. We celebrated his birthday on April 13 and invited my sister's puppies... they are best friends and they love each other and had some doggie birthday cake.
We are blessed to have such special dog.
