Miss Laila 2 mo.
My Maltese Pomeranian puppy Miss Laila is full of personality! She is intelligent, but yet can be a bully!
Over the last couple of months she has learned quickly. When I first got her at 6 weeks she was 1 lb 4oz now after 3 mo. she is 5lbs. She has strong teeth and carries her bowl where ever she will go.
She barks to let you know when she has gone potty!!! Very smart dog and intelligent! I love my Laila and wouldn't get another dog!
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Junior
by Ms Teira
(Texas)
Junior at 7 weeks
My Maltese Pomeranian puppy Junior is very cute and lovable. I have had him for 2 months now. I got him at 7 weeks and could not wait to go shopping for him. Junior is 3 1/2 months now.
He loves the park and my teddy bears. He is constantly taking my bears of the bed. Junior goes wherever I go,if not he will cut-up. He wines like a baby. I love my babe though. He get compliments from everyone. I am often asked where did you get him he is so cute. Junior is heaven sent.
He is truly a picky eater also. I have brought so many different bands of food until I finally found the right one. Today I was told, "I wish I was your dog", by a store manager. I guess because I am always shopping for him. Junior loves to shop too. He is very friendly with everyone. If a stranger walks up to me he would bark or growl though. He is so protective of me. He is such a sweet heart. When it is time for bed he always come cuddle up underneath me.
Last week he took sick and had to say with the vet for a few days. The entire time he was gone my son was missing him. He refuse to go to sleep at night because he said he could not sleep without Junior being home.
I don't know what I would do if I was to lose my babe. He mean so much to me a my son. He is chasing my son around the house at this moment. He loves to play.
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Coco Chanel
by Melinda Myers
(Statesboro, Ga. USA)
I have had a male Maltese in the past, but traveling so much led me to give him away to a good home. Twelve years later, I missed Guinness so much, I bought another one... or I thought I bought a six week old Maltese.
I think she might be a Maltese Pomeranian puppy. As she grows older, I see that her eves are not rounded like a Maltese, and her hair is much finer. She's seven months old now, and just spayed, and I cannot put a bow in her hair. It's too fine. She was the runt of the litter and is so very intelligent.
Her stance and curled tail tells me she has got alot of Maltese in her, but, do you have any idea what breed she could be?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Gizmo Emo
by Belle
(Las Vegas, NV)
My husband and I are newlyweds. We decided to adopt a dog to find out if we’re ready for parenthood. I had never owned a pet before and we had no criteria of what breed we wanted. We just knew we wanted something small that doesn’t shed. So we went to a reputable pet store in town, and just as we were about to leave, we spot this furball in one of the playpens. We had never even heard of Maltipoms. We asked the owner if we could hold the furball, and it was the sweetest, softest, and cutest thing we’ve ever seen. He kept licking my husband’s arm the whole time and we knew we found our baby.
We named our Maltese Pomeranian puppy Gizmo after the Gremlins movie. His middle name is Emo because when he gets sad or lazy he’ll just plop his little head on your hand as though saying, “Woe is me.” Everyone coos over Gizmo and is amazed at his wonderful temperament. He is super friendly and gets attached to people, even strangers. Someone could be at our house for a minute, and after they leave, he’ll get really sad. He is friendly with other dogs as well. Big or small – he’ll run up to a dog and want to play.
He has some odd idiosyncrasies that are totally “Gizmo”. When he has to go #2, he’ll run around and around the house like he’s trying to run the poop out of him. He is deathly afraid of the stain remover bottle. When my husband and I kiss, he’ll run up to us and want to give kisses too.
No matter how bad our day is, our Maltese Pomeranian puppy Gizmo always makes it better. When we do decide to have a baby, we hope we’ll be blessed with a baby as wonderful and loving as Gizmo!
Black and White Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Rocky
by Gaby
(Collegedale, TN)
I have a black and white Maltese Pomeranian puppy named Rocky. He is the most loving, playful, respectful dog!
I think if you get the right mixture of the two breeds you can have an excellent dog!. He doesn't shed, and is very easy to train.
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Teddy
by Kody and Cherri McDonald
(Utah)
Teddy is such a Maltese Pomeranian puppy, he is only ten weeks old and he is or first puppy. He is already sitting and staying, along with knowing his name and goes potty outside!!
He is being trained with a clicker and I think that is good for him. He is supper calm, but when he wants to play he goes crazy for his toys. He is perfect with kids of all ages- baby to teens. We have nieces and nephews that have been playing with him and he does really good with them.
Everyone that has seen him wants a Maltipom too- really they can't believe how quiet and relaxed he is for a puppy. He is perfect for us!!

Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Kimchee Itchy
by Helen
(Fullerton, CA)
My Maltese Pomeranian puppy Kimmie is always happy and loves to be within 2 inches of my fiancee and I. When we study, he cries to be picked up. Once on the table, he falls asleep -- usually with his face right on the paper that I am writing on. I have a lot of puppy drool marks on my papers to prove it.
He was relatively easy to house train -- its our first dog, so I have nothing to reference it to. My Maltese Pomeranian is now 10 months old. Its funny how much our entire family's conversation revolves around Kimchee's antics. He definitely brought our family closer together.
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Laila
by Nikki
(California)
Laila, my Maltese Pomeranian puppy, is a joy! She is extremely smart and lovable. Right now Laila is teething and biting a lot. If you tell her not to bite, she will slap at you and bark at you as if to say "who do you think you are talking to?".
If animals can go through the "terrible Twos" well Laila is. She constantly is looking to get into something. However, she is smart enough to know that she is not suppose to and will run away so you will chase her. She is a bully toward our older dogs.
She is so cute. Laila is loaded with personality! Right now Laila is 3 months old and weights 5 pounds. We have not seen her parents, therefore we do not know just how big she will be.
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Sasha
by Tyna
(Bay Area, CA)
Sasha @ 4 weeks
We will be picking up my Maltese Pomeranian puppy Sasha in 2 days. She makes 8 weeks Friday and my children are excited. We were in the market for a Pomeranian and my co- worker told me about his litter of Maltese Pomeranian so of course I've been doing research.
I'm anxious to see what she will look like as she gets older. I like the Maltese hair style so I will stick to that. I will update our progress so you can also watch her grow. Wish us luck!!!!!
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Sugar Cookie
by Sugars mom
(Florida )
sugar at 13 weeks
What a good dog! My Maltese Pomeranian puppy such a crowd pleaser. I did my research before I bought this dog. I never owned a dog before but felt like I wanted to give it a try. I wanted a dog I could handle in a small space and always found Pomeranians to be cute but felt like a mixture might end up with a better personality and better health.
So sugar took to me immediately as a puppy. She lost all shyness within a week and began to be very bitey, and peed everywhere! She would charge at my head playfully all the time and frankly it hurt. I began to watch "It's me or the dog" a British program about dog training... oh my god it changed my dog instantly. She immediately started using her puppy pads, became gentle, knocked of that barking, and began to play in ways I could handle. She learned tricks within a day or less. She is the smartest thing! At four and half months my little dog can even be taken outside and stick with me and not run off with out a leash.
Shes extremely social which is what I wanted. She loves people and even small children. She does NOT bite the kids and runs up to people wanting to be petted, played with and picked up. When I go to social gatherings people thank me for bringing her. What prompted me in writing this is if you train your dog, talk sweetly to her, give her treats, and take a positive approach you can have a dog that is really the joy of your life to be around. Maybe I just got lucky to have the best dog in the world!
sugar is now eight pounds and may get a tiny bit longer, her face is much more Pom, but her hair is still short at 4 months, sadly the ears stand up strain now unless shes very sleepy
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Gidget
by Chris
(Wisconsin)
Gidget is a cuddly little Maltese Pomeranian puppy. She is 7 months old and a wonderful pet. She loves children and will snuggle with anyone. She does lots of tricks and learns so easily. The only problem we have is that she leaks urine when someone new comes to the door and although she is not yippee, she still barks when someone walks by.
I have her trained not to bark when we walk and meet other dogs and people. She is good for me but when my husband has her she forgets my rules. She is smart enough to know who handles the discipline. We also have a Yorkie and I have trained her not to bark at all. Gidget is taking a bit longer.
She is pretty much house broken but still will go in the house occasionally if we don't pay close attention. She hasn't figured out that she needs to tell us when she needs to go outside. We have to remember to take her every three hours. It is improving right along, but slower than my Yorkie.
I love to watch her play. She loves her toys and always has them scattered all over the house. We love her to pieces. She is a great pet. If you want a lap dog that loves to be petted and brushed, this is a great choice.
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Lilly Mae
by Sharra
(Omaha, Ne, USA)
Loves the wind in her hair, 7 mo's
My Maltese Pomeranian puppy Lilly is actually somewhat of a rescue dog. She was bounced around from home to home about 6 owners in under a five month period. My uncle and cousin kept her because they wanted to try and find her a more permanent home. One day I was over to visit and pick up a saw and instead I left with her!
She is the sweetest most gentle loving thing ever, it was like fate how we found each other. Now I'm sure she knows that this is going to be her permanent home :}
She is soooo spoiled, but its really hard not to reward her for being so clever, and even so, she uses those deep brown eyes of hers to get what she wants... those adorable little pleading eyes. For a now 9 mo old puppy she is so well behaved and learns super quick.
I think she thinks shes a little toddler, I have a nephew that she plays and follows around with, you should see the mischievous looks on their faces when they get caught :}

Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Mojo
Mojo!
My Maltese Pomeranian puppy Mojo is over ten weeks old and still teeny tiny, and only weighs 1.7lbs! His coat seems to be fuzzy like a Pom at the minute - but perhaps this will grow out to become more silky like a Maltese? Maybe someone can let me know?
He's a bundle of fun and full of character. My Maltese Pomeranian hates to left alone in his pen (we're the process of breaking him of his habit of going wild if left in it!) I'll post more pics as he gets older.
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Ramsey

Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Picasso
by Stephanie
(Chambersburg, PA, USA)
Sleepy Picasso
Picasso, my Maltese Pomeranian puppy, is loyal and hates to be alone. He loves people but is a little apprehensive at first and barks a lot, but when he warms up to that person (which doesn't takes long) he will make them fall in love with him. He likes other dogs. My Maltese Pomeranian loves to sleep in random places too.
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Frankie
by Amanda
(TX)
Frankie (my Maltipom) at about 6 weeks
My Maltese Pomeranian puppy Frankie is only about 12 weeks old now, but I absolutely adore her. I couldn't have asked for a better little one.
Seeing her get so excited every time I walk in the door is such a great feeling. She sleeps right next to my face every night and hardly leaves my side. Every person my Maltese Pomeranian mix puppy has met, she has liked and kissed all over, she is so friendly.
She loves to play with everything, but mainly stuffed animals that are twice her size, she loves to drag them around the house. Still having a hard time with the potty training, but she is getting better.
Miracle Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Marley
by Kristen
(Pennsylvania)
Marley "Milagro" (Marley Miracle)
She is 12 weeks old and BEAUTIFUL! I have had dogs in the past, but have NEVER bonded with any like I have Marley! She adores our 8 year old son, and is such a cuddle bug.
When we purchased Marley she was under weight and sick. She weighed in at 1.2lbs at 8 weeks old. She was vomiting and had watery diarrhea. She would not eat, drink, or play. Our Vet told us she would probably die. She was hypoglycemic and in need of LOVE. Our vet was amazing... without a shadow of a doubt we decided to take necessary action to "try" and save our little dog. We would hospitalize her during the day, and I insisted on bringing her home at night. We woke up with her every 3 hours to try and make her eat. We fed her small amounts of honey to bring her sugar up, and in the morning right back to the hospital for IV fluids, antibiotics, and attempts at eating. After 4 days we brought her home. Her weight went down to 15oz...but her personality was growing. Now only 4 weeks later, our little Marley "Milagro" is strong and healthy!!!
We bonded over the period of her illness, since we only had her 2 days when she fell ill. Some thought we were crazy for fighting for her, and not getting our money back... but our "miracle" puppy had such a fight in her! She is fully trained on her puppy pads and seems so easy to train. She picks up on everything we are teaching her so far. We are totally in love and welcome her as a now healthy and fully cleared by our vet. A wonderful addition to our family!!!
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Ella
by Kelly
(Ontario, Canada)
Ella is a happy and very active Maltese Pomeranian puppy. She is our spoiled little princess. Ella is 9 months old and weighs just under 3 pounds.
She is quite stubborn and therefore difficult to train. House training took about 5 months and "sit" took about 4 months. We are still working on all other commands such as "come" and "stay".
Ella is extremely intelligent and brings a lot of joy to our home. She loves to follow you around the home and loves to go on long walks. Ella loves to play and be around people. We couldn't have asked for a better first pet.
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Rosie

Kennedy with Rosie the Maltipom
I've only had my Maltese Pomeranian puppy for 5 days. She is 6 1/2 weeks old. I've been trying to teach her to potty on puppy pads. She will sometimes, but not always. Maybe when she is older she will be easier to train.
She is a very sweet, lovable puppy. She has adapted to her new home very well and seems content.
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Mizzy

First Bath
We got our Maltese Pomeranian puppy Mizzy when she was 8 weeks old. She's been with us for 3 weeks already. We super love her so much.
She is so playful and cute. We are on the process of getting her potty trained, but at such a young age, our Maltese Pomeranian knows that if we go outside the house she needs to pee and poo.
She a very good addition to our family.
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Raven
by Victoria
(Ocean City, MD)
I received my Maltese Pomeranian puppy Raven when he was only 6 weeks old. He is the cutest puppy on the planet. He is now 4 months old. Ray is very active and loves to roll around in the grass. My Maltese Pomeranian mix puppy also enjoys playing with Buddha a 8 month old Pit Bull. They surprisingly play very well together. He was definitely the best thing I ever bought!
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Ziggy
by Natalie
(Ontario, Canada)
Ziggy at 6 weeks
4 months old
5 months old
Ziggy at 6 months
The first picture is of my little Maltese Pomeranian puppy at just 6 weeks old. Having never owned a Maltese or a Pomeranian, I knew very little about the breeds but fell in love with him at first sight. Luckily, he has proven to be the ideal pet! (in most ways, anyway ;-). They're very intelligent, and although he started off being a bit on the yappy side, he has been very easy to train for the most part. Potty training seemed to happen overnight and he learns tricks usually on the first or second try!
The next pictures show Ziggy at his current age of 6 months. He's changed quite a bit in size and colour. His ears went from both being floppy, to one being floppy while one stood up straight, then vice versa, and now they both stand up. He's faded from a rich brown colour with a black goatee which I still miss (luckily I decided against calling him coffee), then turned nearly white, and now he's mostly an orange/apricot colour, which I love!
I got Ziggy in Christchurch, New Zealand and relocated him last week back to my homeland of Canada after the earthquake! So he is a survivor and one tough cookie. He's loving it in Canada!
Maltipoms are great little dogs and everyone falls in love with them as they're so unique-looking and adorable!
Maltese Pomeranian Puppy - Bella
Bella is the best little Maltese Pomeranian puppy and I am very lucky to have her in my life! She is 6 months old and weighs about 5 pounds. She is so sweet and caring. She is very intelligent and was potty trained in about two weeks! She loves to go for walks and play with other dogs. She enjoys playing with her rope and her "telephone." Bella is quite the little princess diva. My Maltipom likes to be held and has a specific blankie that she sleeps on in the bed. I work at a nursing home and Bella has been coming to work with me every day since I got her. She absolutely loves the residents and they love her. She even has a specific routine in the morning of what residents she has to go say hi to when we get to work. She loves to play with the residents, sit on their laps, and give them lots of kisses! My Maltese Pomeranian mix is so sweet and gentle with them all too. The residents love Bella's big, giant, Dumbo ears! They seem to double in size daily! I absolutely love Bella and I am so grateful for her!
