Long Legged Maltese Poo - Lily
by Susan
(Juneau, AK)
My Maltese Poo Lily has a distinctive black spot over one eye & ear. She stops traffic because of it and then they stay stopped because she loves people and other dogs so much. She has a very loving, friendly and cheerful disposition.
When she is upset with me about something or demanding of something, she dances and stomps with her back feet in a hysterically funny fashion.
Lily is smart and has trained up well. But she is all dog and is most happy when out on a walk in nature. I couldn't ask for a better companion.

Maltese Poo - Puffers

11 months
My Maltese Poo mix is super duper playful. Let me tell ya. It loves to play in the sprinkler and loves to swim. Just loves water. Except when it comes to taking bathes.
Its similar to the Jack Russel Terrier in a way with all the energy it has. It will literally wear you out by the end of the day.
This breed of dog - Maltese Poodles - is very smart. We house broke him within the first month of having him. It started learning tricks and picking them up. Its unbelievable of how quick they learn.

Maltese Poo - Cocoa
by Marisa Falbo
(Floral Park, NY USA)
We adopted our Maltese Poo Cocoa in 2006 - he was abandoned and we were lucky enough to make him part of our family. He's a funny little guy, so loving and sweet. He has an extremely calm and accepting nature, and absolutely adores going places and meeting new people. He and I have been trained and are a registered Pet Partner Team with Delta Society. So we put on his vest and go visiting whenever possible.
Our Maltipoo loves to play, and has three favorite toys; a sock (with puppies on it), my cell phone case, and the cap from a can of hairspray. He actually kicks the cap around the house and runs after it as it rolls ahead of him. It is so much fun to watch. And playing sock with him is an experience as he growls and plays mean.
He is a beautiful mix of white, cream and a touch of brown on the back of his legs. His eyes are a gorgeous chocolate brown, and his nose and pads of his feet are also brown.
We are so incredibly lucky to have our Maltese Poodle mix Cocoa in our family - it was amazing to watch him gain confidence in our home in the first 3-4 months. He was a skinny 6 pounds when they found him, and within a few months he gained weight and has been at a solid 10 pounds now. I am constantly taking photos of him and have submitted his picture to local newspapers, on-line at so many web sites, contests, etc. Cocoa sends out Halloween and Christmas cards each year to his "family" that contain some of his best shots.
He sleeps by my side each evening, after watching TV with us. He watches all sports shows with my husband, and leaves the room when scary movies are on (he hates the screaming).
We are grateful each day that he is with us and have spoiled him completely. But he deserves it.

Our black and white Maltese Poo or Maltipoo is simply the most adorable dog in the world! He loves everyone and everyone loves him. He's always wagging his tail and doing something funny.
He was a birthday present from my husband and I've told him he'll never need to get me another present as nothing will top Muppet!

Chopper's wild side
Chopper, our Maltese Poo, has the black rim around his eyes, he is smart, and loving. He was a sweetest day present for my husband, who wanted a Harley. He was to small to be a Harley, hence his name Chopper.
He thinks he's human. If he wants outside he tells you by talking in his dog voice. He puts his head on your shoulder when in front of strangers and acts bashful, he has his favorite blanket that he has to have every night before he goes to bed, he loves to play,
He knows the word chicken cause he loves chicken and we can't say the word in front of him. when I put clothes on him, he will pose for you, he knows sit, lay, come, and stay, He loves to be massaged and lays on his back and wants his belly rubbed.
He loves to travel, He's been to FL ,GA, North and South Carolina, TN, Ohio and KY. He knows when we are just about home.
Maltese Poodle Dog - Kukis
by Alejandra
(Fontana, CA)
I got my Maltese Poodle dog Kukis whn she was 4 months it's now been 2 wonderful years. She is a great loving dog. I have a 3 year old and Kukis has been with us since my youngest daughter was 1 and she got along with her so amazingly she let's my daughter pick her up play pretend I've had no problems Kukis getting along with anybody in the family. My Maltipoo is obedient and well trained. She does tend to bark when people are driving by or when we pull up to drive way but other than that no aggression or any other issues with her.

Maltese Poo - Mickey
Maltese Poo playing in the leaves
Mickey the Maltese Poo is the most loving sweet dog I have owned. He gets along with everyone (i.e. his best friend is a Pittbull) and is very sociable while is also great at being a watch dog.
He acts almost like a human and I could not imagine owning another dog. My Maltese Poo can read what I am trying to say just by facial expressions and knows when good/bad company is around. He dances on his back paws to get a treat and pouts when he does not get what he wants.
When I get on to him he will look up through his eyes at me as though he is going through the hardest thing in his life. He knows when I am sad and will be right beside my side. He loves to cuddle and make me happy.
