I have had one of the best Maltese Poodles Brandy now 6 1/2 years. She was purchased from a breeder in northern Alabama. I have had many animals all my life, but she is the most distinct of them all. She is extremely close to me and when she looks at me, it is as though she understands what I'm saying and it's as if she is looking into my soul.

Minni is one of the funniest and sassiest Maltese Poodles. She LOVES to cuddle. She snoops around everyone's rooms and likes to eat toliet paper! She is so sweet always. She is going to be Minnie Mouse for Halloween. She just loves everyone especially her groomer.
Our Maltese Poodle has made our house an even more loving home. When we come home, she dances on her two back legs until we bend over and give her kisses.

My Poodle Maltese mix dog Rocky and I met when he was with his foster mom getting groomed at the doggy daycare/groomers where I work. I was playing with the dogs in daycare when my coworker told me to go out front and see the little dog that was up for adoption. Everyone at work knows how much I love small dogs so I literally ran to the front to see him. My heart melted. After wanting a dog of my own for five years I had to have him. The next morning I got the foster moms phone number and called her up to ask questions about Rocky. Five days later he was home with me.
My Poodle Maltese dog had a rough start in life coming from an abusive home in Alabama where he was in a crate for nearly two years. He was underweight and VERY afraid of men. We are still working on being okay with men but Rocky has made great strides in the six short months he's been with me. I can't remember what my life was like before him. I find it's impossible to go to bed at night unless he is on his blanket in the bottom right corner of my bed... that's his spot. I love walking through the door and having him be so excited to see me.
He really did change my life. Being responsible for him and introducing him to love has changed me as a human being.
Rocky is everything to me. He has found his furever home.
My first of two Maltese Poodles Murphie is now 12 years old. He is my baby and the love of my life. He is so spoiled that he does not even know he is a dog. He is so smart it is scary. I wish we could have cloned him. He does what ever you want him to do. He has been my life.
Then my kids wanted me to get another Maltese Poo. So we got Bella a little girl. She is so full of puppy and so cute too. That my Murf doesn't like her much now. She is more like a Maltese dog rather than Poodle. She has straight hair. Murphie has the Poodle like hair.
We have always washed Murphie once a week, we cut his hair and nails and wash his ears and brush his teeth. He will stand for hours to get all that done. Then I dress him up. Now Bella will have to get use to that too. I have tried to wash her already and have dressed her up. She doesn't like it as much as Murphie does, but she will have to get use to it. Ha ha. My only problem is how to cut Bella, like I said her hair is different and straight.. I cannot find any step by step instructions on how to do it.
Bella is only 3.8lbs. Murphie is 15lbs. But Bella will only be about 8 or 9 lbs they said ,her dad was a toy. mom regular. But Maltese Poodle mixes are the best dogs to get. They are smart and they love you so . Murphie looks at you and you tell him things and he does it. You do not believe it till you see it. He is my baby. I am hoping Bella will learn from Murphie. But right now Murphie is not loving Bella. I am giving Murphie as much love as he can get now.
So, these are my Maltese Poodle babies. Murphie and Bella..... Hope you enjoyed hearing about them.

We got one of the best Maltese Poodles, Fred, from Labs and Buddies rescue in Westlake Village, CA. He is 4 years old and we have had him about 4 months. He brings us pure joy. He is so funny, and sooo nosy. I kid my husband and tell him Fred is the commander of the Neighborhood Watch. He loves looking out the front window. He is great at fetch.
One thing he does which is a problem is he is a runner. He cannot be out front without a leash. He just takes of like a cotton ball on wheels. Great on walks but I just cannot trust him without a leash EVER!
My husband is in a wheelchair and Fred took to that like water. He loves to ride! We love him to pieces and adore Maltese Poodles. He is the first one we have had.

Our Maltese Poodle Molly is the life of our home. She is so clean, non-shedding, and very polite and intelligent. She isn't really fond of small kids, but she can be friendly with older. Excellent in being a watch dog. She can get bored, and ask to either go out or play with her and have fun. Maltese Poodles are our kind of doggie and we really love her.

I love my black Maltese Poodle! Boy... is the saying "Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened.” the truest quote ever!!
I am 43 years old and Nev was the VERY FIRST dog I ever touched. Severe allergies had kept me from ever knowing what it was truly like to have a dog, let alone a heart dog like him.
He is the most amazing dog! He is playful and very energetic. The most gentle, extremely intelligent, always eager to please, was easily trained, and very loyal to his human family. My Maltese Poodle is the perfect family dog that loves everyone he meets. He is great with my two kids and his half sister, a Maltese Shih Tzu.
He has changed my life!

When I first got my Poodle Maltese mix Simba I was wanting a purebred Yorkshire Terrier. I had read so much about the breed and did all this research. One day I came home and my parents had recieved what their friend called a "silky" terrier. I walked in the door and Simba was a little puppy pure white that looked nothing like a silky. I was way shocked and before I got home that night I told my parents that I didn't want a silky. I was wrong I love Simba so much, his breed is perfect for my lifestyle. I love taking simba every where but it is nice to have my little watch dog cuddle up next to me and bark at everything. I love Maltese Poodles and think they are the perfect dogs.
I love you Simba!!

Our male Maltese Poodle dog Buddy is awesome... he is 10 years old and one of the smartest dogs we have ever owned (I think he may be half human because he understands english sooo well :) although, a very good guard dog, he loves everybody. we recently purchased a Chi Weenie (awesome breed also) and buddy loves him very much just like a brother. I have attached a picture to see how beautiful these Maltese Poodles really are.
My Poodle Maltese dog's name is Milby. He was born on the day that my dad told me we needed to get a dog, the way I see it is that he was made just for us. He is my first dog and he loves to play and he has this favorite toy, a monkey. My family and I have bought several for him because it's his favorite, so quite often his monkey will be missing a nose and all appendages. My Maltese Poodle is very sweet, however we didn't socialize him at an early age so he does bark a lot when new people come over and his enemy is the mail lady, he gets aggressive with the mail at times. When I go on trips and such it's sad to hear from my family that he doesn't eat or use the restroom because of his anxiety of me being away. When I'm not home he finds refuge with the people in the house, cuddling with them but as soon as I return he is by my side. My dog actually waits for me to get back from work, he waits in front of the door a good two hours before I get home. My Poodle Maltese mix loves playing though, I feel so lucky that he is a happy, intelligent, clever dog. He sleeps on his back and is also hypoallergenic so no shedding, which is good for my family, the only thing about thim is that he requires daily grooming so that he doesn't have nasty matts with his curly Poodle hair. He loves to play and he's very good at tricks and even though he's almost six years old he still can learn new tricks. He is very protective of me at times, but no one in the house minds too much about it. Overall, I'm very happy with the dog that was given to me, I really do hope that he can live through his fullest lifespan as long as he's healthy.

Kaycee is a male Poodle Maltese mix who will be three years old in July/12. He is quite the character. White for 5 mins after his grooming before he gets all dirty. Loves to go camping, swimming, can dance. Loves people. When he tells you off or does not want to do something he sits down on his rear and throws his front paws at you or will do a version of his mean growl. Very protective/jealous of me his owner. Speaks to you when you talk to him. Kaycee is the boss of my roommates dog Billy a Jack Russell. My Poodle Maltese mix shows him constantly who is boss of the house.

My Toy Poodle Maltese mix is approx. 5 pounds and his birthday is Aug 30 and turned 1 this year. My dog loves to lick his Master and the family members he is closests too.
I trained him how to sit, stay, come, go potty under a year old, he is very smart. I only trained him for about 30 minutes a day for less then a week and he seemed to respond quickly. I want to start training him to try and do a back handspring since he loves to stand on his hind legs for treats. The trick is giving him treats for everything you want to teach him, I break up his treat into tiny pieces so I do not fill up his tiny tummy too quickly. Also a trick is when you know he is a tiny bit hungry the time of day when he is the perkiest.
We love our Rexie because he is so sweet and loves to cuddle.

I got one of the cutest Maltese Poodles from a man who did not take care of her. Zoey was only 6 weeks old and very sick. Within a week my little girl has become much better in health!
She loves to sleep on my pillow taking it over for her own use! She curls around my head like a cat. She weights 1lbs 8 ounces. She is cross eyed so when she plays or runs, she stumbles... A lot! It's quite cute. Yogurt happens to be her favorite treat. If she tastes/smells it, then she goes completely banana's and talks to you till you give it to her!!
My Maltese Poodle is very small, very needy for attention, but thats why I love her. She needs me, and wants me around. I could have never picked a better dog. I just wish I knew how much she will weigh when full grown!!
