Maltese Terrier - Pretzel

My sweet sweet little angel is Pretzel and she is almost 8 months old. We rescued her 3 months ago and they told us she's a "Terrier mix". We have no idea what her mix is and random people tell us probably a Maltese. I want to know what kind of Terrier she is (Cairn is my biggest guess), but her long legs and long body definitely throws me off. Weight wise, she's gained a pound with every birth month (6 months 6 lbs, 7 months 7 lbs, right now she's 7.5 and will be 8 months April 1). She has a very tiny face, compared to her body/legs. Also, her tongue is pretty big for her size, but her paws are small.

Pretzel is extremely energetic, but gets tired easily. She LOVES kids, but barks when they won't play with her. She is VERY protective of her mommy and gets very jealous when daddy steals mommy's attention. She loves to cuddle and licks EVERYONE. She is also always sniffing the floor. New house? She will sniff every inch before she is ready to play or meet anyone. She also gets along with cats instantly, but needs to get acquainted with a new dog before being friends (she rarely is nice to small dogs). She growls often and that's definitely my fault because I think it's adorable. Everyone who meets her instantly falls in love. She is smart but can be a tad stubborn at times. You can say she is spoiled (partly my fault), but she is still such a sweetheart.

I really want to know what she is because curiously is killing me. Also, I REALLY want to know how big she'll get. Looking at Cairmal pics, they look just like her minus the long legs and body.
