Bneji is a one year old Maltese Yorkie mix. Just look at him... how can anyone not love him? He is very playful, affectionate, and loyal. He plays well with dogs in all sizes and young children. He is not a yappy dog, but does whine a little for my attention or when I have to leave him to go to work.

He does have all the Maltese features but Yorkie color. Benji is being very loved by our family and he pretty much knows that... lol. We just had his 1st Birthday PAWty and Benji had a blast!

Maltese Yorkie Mix - Lily

My Maltese Yorkie mix Lily is now 8 months old. My mother-n-law purchased her from a private breeder for me while my husband was in Iraq. I was having a hard time with him being gone and my mother-n-law thought a puppy would help me get myself together. She was so right.

Lily was only 6 weeks old when I got her. Lily is the sweetest and cutest puppy I have ever seen. She makes me so happy. She is always so excited to see me and smothers me with kisses.... so many kisses that I find it hard to breathe at times.

She is very active and loves to play fetch. She has a little tiny baby doll that is her favorite toy. I can't imagine my life without Lily.

Izzie is my wonderfully sweet and very, very special Maltese Yorkie mix! She very friendly, happy and energetic! She loves playing with my 8 year Yorkie and my two cats.

She learns new tricks quickly. She doesn't run like other dogs...she bounces and hops like a bunny! She is happy all of the time. She likes to snuggle on the couch and in the bed. She is sooo precious!

Maltese Yorkie Mix - Niko

My little Maltese Yorkie mix or Morkie Niko is 4 months old. She weighs 7 lbs. Her mom is a Yorkie and her dad a Maltese. She has done well with training. She knows sit, down, stay and right now she is learning to ring a bell at the back door to go outside.

Our Maltese Yorkie mix is full of energy but very loving. When she is praised we can see how proud she is for doing well. She loves to hear the clicker for good behavior.

Maltese Yorkie Mix - Dexter

Dexter is my Maltese Yorkie mix. I work at an emergency vet clinic and the mama dog's previous owner couldn't afford the cesarean section she needed, so she signed her over to me. I paid for the surgery and got(as a total surprise) a live puppy out of it! We didn't expect any of the puppies to make it, and couldn't pick up any heartbeats when we did the sonogram, so having our Maltese Yorkie mix puppy Dexter alive and healthy was a miracle! He is uniquely colored, as his sire was a Parti Colored Yorkie... hence the spotted coat. He is amazing and funny and the best puppy ever!

Maltese Yorkie Mix - Gracie

Gracie is a 6 lb., 2 yr old Morkie or Maltese Yorkie mix. She has the most adorable "howling bark" when she gets excited. She has gorgeous, very silky soft hair which is silver and cinnamon colored.

She has the best temperament and behaves very well. The Yorkie in her is apparent when it comes to chasing squirrels, they drive her insane by teasing her and throwing pine cones at her!

This is how we got our Maltese Yorkie mix. We have never had a little dog before, always in the line of retriever and Lab. I am allergic to both, but still own them. I wanted a dog that I could cuddle without a reaction, we found our baby. Gabrelle came to us via Nebraska. I fell in love with him the moment I saw his picture... he looked coy and mischievous... and has lived up to it. Our daughter owns an American Bulldog that is 90lbs at 9 months and he plays wonderfully with Gabrelle. Lots of entertainment.

Gabrelle is bold and is afraid of nothing and will go after you. In the morning he is up and everybody needs to be up with him. Our Maltese Yorkie mix will go and bark to raise the kids out of bed.

He is a very affectionate dog and is very happy to see who ever comes home and greets with lots and lots of kisses. He prefers to be held when tired and snuggles up on my chest and nuzzles my neck.

On potty training; well he has very good days and days of oops by the front door. He barks when he has to go and we better respond asap or the oops occurs. However there has been time when he has been playing and like a little toddler oops....because he is to be to go.

Our Yorkie Maltese mix Gabrelle is an amazing dog and he is dearly loved by all.

Maltese Yorkie Mix - Gizmo

Gizmo is my 2 yr old male Maltese Yorkie mix or Morkie. He is very loving and energetic. He is very intelligent, I enrolled him in obedience school because he was so hard to potty train. He did so well, he now rings a bell when he needs to go out. We went all the way through advanced class and he was CGC certified when he was 1 yr old.

He has been involved in pet therapy and brightened everyones day. He recently found that had a mass in my stomach and I credit him for saving my life. This is why he is so special.

Maltese Yorkie Mix? Kibbles

Kibbles was a pound puppy, and I'm not sure what mix she actually is. She looks quite Yorkie, and a vet said she thought part Maltese. Her hair is wavy, never knots, and grows only around 5 inches long. And she sheds like crazy! That is what makes me wonder about the Maltese Yorkie mix thing.

She does have a bit of white (not grey) on her chin, as well as a short white stripe between the front legs. She is the perfect dog (I'm sure!), but it would be nice to see what people think she may be. Personality wise, she is a great hunter, quiet, just as happy having a belly rub as playing a game of tug-o-war. Any ideas? Thanks!

Maltese Yorkie Mix - Bubbles

Bubbles is a Morkie, Maltese Yorkie mix (Maltese mom/Dad Yorkie), 1 yr old, 9lbs, wonderful dog. She had alot of black hair which is almost all gone now! She looks like a mini BENJI.

She is EXTREMELY smart. She does all the following by HAND SIGNALS/no words spoken: SIT, STAY, LAY DOWN, KISSES, ROLLOVER, GIVE ME LEFT PAW, GIVE ME RIGHT PAW, SPEAK, SHHHH (QUIET). She also knows which toy to get when I call it out (she has over 30 toys). She runs to the patio sliding door when I tell her to check on my tomato plant (to make sure it is still there) and now I am teaching her to meditate. She also knows what toast is and runs when we toast bread and loves it. When I get her a new toy, we sit by ourselves and I tell her what toy it is (REPETITION) and she knows it after about 5 minutes. I am also a great trainer and I can train a dog to do anything.

Bubbles is a wonderful daughter to me. She flew from Missouri to Florida to be with us!

Maltese Yorkie Mix - Kelsie

Maltese Yorkie Mix - Judy

Our Maltese Yorkie mix Judy has an incredibly sweet personality. We breed standard poodles and have 11 children. She fit right into our home.

If you are looking for a small dog with a big personality, than a Maltese Yorkie mix is it. She keeps right up with the kids and the poodles.

She is approx. 18 months, and even though she came to us a little older, she trained very quickly. She is enjoying her grooming sessions as well.

Maltese Yorkie Mix - Roxy

Roxy is a three year old Maltese Yorkie mix. Very intelligent and very affectionate yet concieted. She takes upon herself to make her own decisions she has to be reminded who is boss. When we take her with us to visit family she behaves wonderfully. Loves being around children. Roxy is a very good dog very loving and no trouble at all to take care of. She has to get her hair cut twice a year. Her hair grows alot; it's long and straight and she does shed. Roxy is black with a few white bloches on her chest, snout and random parts of her legs.

Even though my Maltese Yorkie mix is very obediant, I have never been able to train her, she just does'nt get it. But she always does her necessities in the same spot and it's just once a day.

She is very protective of her family. And she recognizes each immediate family memebers name.

We love our Maltese Yorkie dearly.
