LOVE HIM TO PIECES!! We haven't had Bear the Maltipoo very long but he is wonderful. He does not bark or bite (other than playful chomping). He is soooooooo cute that he instantly wraps anyone around his tiny finger (toe?).

Sophia is our three year old Maltipoo. I joke that her Poodle mother was a dancer, because she inherited her long legs.
Her father was a Maltese, and Sophie is very much the Maltese except for her coloring and her long legs.
Her favorite thing in the world is going for a car ride. She's been on many a road trip, but she lives for carpool time.

Lexi is a part of our family and thinks she is a human. A white Maltipoo with peach ears, she is a fun loving hyper active puppy with a spit fire streak and tons of personality.
She has a very strong will and could be seen as stubborn. If I take away a toy she will bark and yell at me which I think is cute! She is also a lover and loves to snuggle in bed with me in the morning. She gives me kisses, hugs and makes me feel better when I am sick.
She is always in the kitchen looking for crumbs that I drop and her nickname has become "Hoover". Lexi has brought so much joy into my life I love her so much and could not imagine a day without her.

I had a stroke at the age of 32. It shook my whole world, and I have had to reinvent a new me. As a present to myself and to celebrate my one year as a stroke survivor, I purchased a Maltipoo. The very best decision I ever made. The owner placed him in my arms, and it was love at first sight.
Booney has been the very best medicine I could have ever had. He has been with me through everything, seen my bad hair days, sat with me when I was sick, got me out of my house when I didn't want to go anywhere, made me smile and laugh, and he still loves me!!! What more can you ask for?
When he was a puppy, he was extremely hyperactive! He loved company, I mean, they did come to see him after all. My Maltipoo quickly became a Mama's boy, and he is not ashamed of it. He is loyal, loving, and protective behind a locked window! lol Sometimes he thinks he is the biggest dog in the neighborhood. His favorite activities are to sit on my hope chest and look outside - which he can do for hours, play catch (with him sitting on the couch and me doing the chasing - seems backward to me. A game granddaddy taught him.), and being wherever Mom is.
My Maltipoo has brought so much love and happiness to me and my family. He is now ten years old and he has begun to experience some old age problems. I hope he will live several more years, continuing to bring happiness to my life.

I have a Maltipoo. She is almost 2 years old, black with white on her chest. She is so smart it's almost scary.
She will watch tv and doesn't like horror movies, she will start barking and go crazy until I turn the TV. When I take her to the vet she will sit in my lap and listen to every word the doctor says.
I just love her so much, I could not think of life without her. I also have a AKC Maltese. He is so sweet and a little devil at the same time All I can say about the difference is my Maltipoo is my big girl, so smart and loving, and my Maltese is just my little baby.

My Maltipoo is almost 10 years old. Loves to go camping, swimming, fishing, he loves to play with the fish and pack it around in his mouth and most of all loves to go quadding, he's the first one on the quad and loves to run in the bush. He loves to see the wild life and howls at them and likes to chase moose and deer. Our friends say he is the best camper ever. Every morning my Maltipoo entertains us with his quacking duck toy. Everyone says he is half human cause he so smart and funny. He is an allaround pleasure to have. He also loves X-mas, he loves to tear open his own presents, it is so funny to watch, he just goes wild .

A beautiful name for a beautiful Maltipoo. Zaraa is full of personality. She brings a ray of sunshine in my life. She has made my dad who was never a dog person a Zaraa person. She is very intelligent and therefore was easy to train.
I believe dogs pick up the energy of their owner and she definitely matches my energy levels and life style. She is very smart sometimes too smart. Going outside sniffing around like she is going to the bathroom and then coming inside expecting a treat. My Maltipoo loves to play, look out the window, go for short walks, and cuddle. I have tried going for runs with her but when she is ready to go home she will sit down and pull at the leesh. She definitely knows how to communicate what she wants. She is very calm. Even the vet and groomer were amazed at how calm she is.
When it comes to grooming she is high maintenance. In the summer I give her a good designer groom for 45 every month in the winter I get her done every 2-3 months. However, her eyes, ears, bum and stomach i get done every 3-4 weeks which ranges around 15. She loves people but is a bit timid until she gets a good sniff and feel for them. I would highly recommend a Maltipoo to anyone looking for a good companion full of personality to match their lifestyles.

Gizmo is truly a special dog. I don't know what I would do without my Maltipoo. Gizmo came into my life about four years ago. I wasn't looking for a dog but I knew of someone that had a sick puppy and was going to have it put to sleep. I offered to try to save him. For the next 10 weeks the little puppy lived in a plastic storage box that I had turned into a oxygen tent, every four hours he had a treatment pumped into the box by a nebulizer. His nose was suctioned every hour so he could breathe. He was too week to eat so I had to hand feed him every two hours. Because of his treatments and feeding he even went to work with me.
Many times I thought I would loose him. But to the surprise of many my Maltipoo got stronger and was able for the first time in 3 months live outside of his box. From that moment he became my constant companion. He is small and looks like a straight hair poodle. He is smart and extremely intuitive. He loves everyone he meets, and everyone that meets him loves him. He is good with little kids even though he wasn't raised around them. He has a " mother" instinct when he is around puppies. He senses when people are afraid of dogs and is very calm around them and snuggles up next to them until their fear is gone and they fall in love with him. My Maltipoo is a great watch dog and is always the first dog to alert us that something is not quite right. He loves to travel and when he see me get my suitcase he pulls his clothes and leach from his toy box. Gizmo is responsible for a countless number of non dog people adopting multipoo's everyone that meets him wants a dog just like him.
Two years ago I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. My walking and balance has been effected greatly. Gizmo sensed that something was not right, and as I took care of him when he was a puppy he now takes care of me. He watches over me both day and night. If I move to another room he comes and looks in on me just to make sure I am ok. He senses when I am sad and he does something crazy to make me laugh, or will engage me in a game of "hide and seek" his favorite game. He knows that I stumble quite a bit and make sure that at all times he is looking out for my steps and has never caused me to trip over him. I fell once and Gizmo kissed my face cleaned my ear (its something that he does) and notified my husband by a very high pitched bark that something was wrong. If Gizmo was bigger and healthier he would make an outstanding service dog. He still coughs and gets winded easily.
There is so much about him that amazes me and those around him. My Maltipoo knows to do things that he has never been taught some how he just knows he does whatever is asked of him and never wants a thing in return.

Our Maltipoo Luckee, I think, was just turned loose from his previous owners who may not have been able to take care of him anymore because he had no tags or collar. He was running all over my mother's neighborhood while we were visiting her in Texas. We're from Florida. He kept coming to my mother's house trying to play with my children but my mother kept shooing him away. He still kept coming back. He was flea infested, dirty, and stinky, so all the neighbors kept shooing him away as well but he would always come back to us.
My children ended up feeding him and eventually bathing him with my mother's shampoo. That didn't take care of the fleas, so I ended up going to the pet store and buying flea shampoo. You should have seen all those fleas dropping off like crazy! All the while Luckee kept trying to lick my face, like he was so glad to get that flea bath! My mother went to the store and bought him some dog food because she said to herself, "I think that dog's going back to Florida." Needless to say, we decided to take him with us back to Florida. It was so ironic that my husband drove down to Texas with us but ended up flying back by himself because he couldn't stay the whole time, so we had the space in the SUV for our Maltipoo Luckee since we had one less body. We figured it was a match made in Heaven. Prior to our departure, I took Luckee to the vet, who gave checked him out, gave him a clean bill of health, and a rabies shot.
Now Luckee has settled into our home here in Florida. He is a friendly dog, so cute and cuddly. I think he's almost won my husband (who says he can't stand dogs) over. Luckee never met a human being he didn't like, always trying to jump and play, wagging his tail the whole time. He makes sure he protects his territory by barking away when he hears someone at the door. He may not be vicious, but at least he made you aware that trouble was on its way! He will sure beg you for your food. The dog hater in the family always succumbs to Luckee's sad eyes and standing on his hind legs and gives him a bite to eat. We are so in love with our Maltipoo Luckee and I don't regret my decision to bring our dog back home with us.

Baxter is a 2-year-old Maltipoo I have had since he was 4 months old. He brings such joy to my life!
He is so intelligent, and listens so intently to what is said to him. He cocks his head to the left and right when I am asking him questions, as if contemplating what is said to him! He was very quick to housebreak and learns everything else just as quickly.
I will get another Maltese mix in the future, as they are wonderful dogs, and I know that Baxter will need a playmate in the house at all times. He presently shares his space with Callie, another poodle mix.

Our Maltipoo is very active, playful, full of energy and loves Charley (our 9 month old toy Poodle) Cooper is 5 months old and is alreay 10lbs, so I don't know about the 6-9 ratio for a Maltipoo. He barks a lot when we encounter other people and dogs and I cannot get him to focus for training. He took about 2 months to get potty trained when Charley, my poodle, took only 1 week!
We love our Maltipoo and his bad behavior. Lol! He's chewed on furniture, shoes and ripped his bed and toys to pieces. Very strong teeth. I am so happy with him though I know he will learn more, just taked more treats with him. So far he knows sit and down. We adopted Cooper from a lady at Petco, when I 1st looked at him he jumped right at me, so he chose us and we love him!

My Maltipoo is the kindest, most lovable creature I have ever experienced in my life. He amazes me in every way possible. I wish people were just like him, this world would be a better place. He is playful, and has the personality of a human being. in fact, he thinks he is! He wants to sleep in the bed, on the pillows and under the covers like we do... He wants to eat at the supper table and bite off the fork, not eat out of a bowl. He watches t.v. with us and he totally understands what we're talking about. My Maltipoo rides in the car everywhere we go, and what a protector!!!!! he was abused by his 1st owner and attacked by a pitbull, and boy you wouldn't know it when it comes to anyone he thinks may harm me. He goes to his grandmother's house 2 days a week while we're at work and behaves perfectly. He stays in the yard and listens impectably. I think of him 24/7 and adore him to no end. My Maltipoo brings me alot of joy and laughter, he is my baby I never had. I will give him the best life I possibly can, besides "who rescued who?"

SAD STORY... Max was about 2 yrs old and I used to dislike small dogs, unfortunately. Until I met our Maltipoo MAXX! He was so playful, loyal, easy to train smart and just had a wonderful personality and he made our lives better in so many ways. I will always enjoy these Maltipoos they are so wonderful!
But today MAXX had gotten out and he was hit by a car and died instantly. People might say its just a dog but he was a part of my family. I am heart broken I don't know if I want to get another Maltipoo because it will feel like I'm trying to fill a void by bringing another one in cuz MAXX was his own dog and I can never replace him.
It is so hard I am leaving Tuesday to Washington and my wife and 2 daughters are going back to San Diego the same day and its a shame to loose him at all but especially while we are getting ready to move. I know that this supposed to be a happy and positive deal but I feel that this is something about my dog that I should share and it is so hard to do so... thank you for your time to hear my story.

Baby is just 4 years old now. She was born in Chiapas Mexico. I bought her on the street in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas on Christmas Eve for $50.
Her first adventure included getting lost in a rain storm in Palenque, and a trip to Bonampak ruins, where she was cared for by some little Lacondon Indian children. Who would be more than happy to trade her for their little brother. She has traveled thousands of miles in just about every imaginable fashion. under buses, airplanes, seats of airplanes, rides great in the car. Sleeps wherever I do, in a tent, whatever.
She's also very quiet, doesn't bark without good reason. She's smart, knows several tricks and understands quite a few words. She is wonderful, loves to play. Wherever we go she makes friends, she loves children.

I have been wanting a Maltipoo for awhile now and my birthday was fast approaching. I had been searching websites for months looking for the perfect one and I finally found him. We drove through 3 states in 7 hours to pick him up.
He is only 9 weeks old and he is soooooooo tiny and cute and fun. He is playful like a full grown dog and he is loving and sweet.
He has not had one potty accident in the house and I can't believe that he is so well potty trained and smart. He is the cutest most fun to watch and play with dog I have ever seen. I am so happy.

Jessica Simpson's Maltipoo Daisy ways always there for well known celebrity Jessica Simpson. The Maltipoo was a gift from Jessica's ex-husband Nick Lachey. Monday while Jessica's mom Tina was puppy sitting the dog was taken by the coyote while in the backyard.
Jessica has been frantically looking for her puppy the whole week but has now given up hope that Daisy will be rescued. The 5 year old puppy has most likely been eaten bye now. Jessica tweeted: "My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!"
Jessica has offered a reward to the lucky one who may find this dog that will bring her together with her little Daisy. RIP sniff sniff. :(

Max has been an interesting character since day one. Yes, I know he's absolutely adorable, and no, pictures don't do him justice. We got Max as a puppy, and he is off-white with champaign spots from his mom. Right now, he's 3 years old.
His obsessions are squirrels, dirty clothing and cheese. He knows sit, lay down, army crawl, dance, paw and other paw, wait, jump, and he can leap at least 2 ft. on command and off leash.
He practically pees himself over new people, and he cries a LOT when you leave the house. He's extremely moody and likes to leave us a present in our rooms when we upset him... I've always thought about getting him into a commercial or a movie, he's so talented and cute, but we shall see.
Sometimes we give him a mohawk to make him seem more masculine. There's a lot more I could say, but he's glaring at me for a walk right now. =) Thanks for reading!

Here is our little Maltipoo guy Auggie. We just adore him. I'm so excited to see on this web site how much others love their Maltipoos. He is smart, playful and so well mannered. We try to take him as many places as we can so that he is highly socialized and stays friendly to everyone. It's almost as if he can understand what we say.
He loves playing with kids, running and just being a cuddly duddly. I never ever knew having a dog was so much fun. I'm so happy I have my Auggie! Enjoy his picture. I will soon have a web site for him called www.doggonegoodadvice.com stop by and visit us anytime.

Our family adopted our Maltipoo dog Timothy from a local shelter. The life changing event happened when I was at the shelter making my weekly visit. The cages are always full of large breed dogs. When I turned the corner, I saw my Maltipoo. His white hair almost brown from the dirt and the tear stains on his face. I was determined to make him part of our family. After numerous interviews with our family including home visits, the time for us to bring our baby home. Tim was 6 months old but had endures years of sadness.
Tim has been in our family for over a year now. He has brought us nothing but joy and love. Tim has accepted his new life as a King with open paws. He enjoys relaxing at home with his parents and his little but older brother Toby. Tim has many favorite things, he enjoys taking his toys out with him on walks. Occasionally, Tim finds it humorous to take other items with him on his walk which might embarrass his us.
Tim is known for his "long legs." He has a tendency to use his legs to find trouble. Tim loves to jump up and stand dinner tables, recliners, etc. His little Maltese brother Toby, finds if he bites on Tim's legs he can bring him down. The best part of Tim is that he gives kisses on command. No matter how far you are, he will go miles to give you a kiss.
Tim loves to be loved and we love our Maltipoo to the moon and back.

Ziggy with his summer cut!
Ziggy is our 5 month old black and white Maltipoo. He's fun to have around! Super energetic, but can be super calm as well. Loves to be around people and other dogs so I like taking him to the dog beach.I recently started taking him with me to the park to go running he actually does pretty well even starts sprinting at times. My Maltese Poodle mix loves to fetch and trust me when he wants to play he will let you know by bringing his toy to you and bark so you know his toy is next to you so you can throw it.
I live in a apartment with no patio and it took me about three months to fully house train my Maltipoo. He's learning pretty quick must be that "high intelligence" factor he has in his blood line :) !! So far he has learned to sit and give me his paw on command. I couldn't have asked for a better dog <3

I have just rescued a little male Maltipoo in Dubai. He was apparently owned by a local at some point in time, as he was painted with henna. He was found by a Veterinarian, wandering outside in the blazing July heat. She took him to her clinic and has nursed him back to health.
My Maltipoo rescue dog is so precious, so sweet and is beginning to trust me just a little bit. He now wants to follow me and remain in the same room with me. He seems very depressed.
He will NOT come to me I call and has the saddest eyes. It breaks my heart. When I put him on the leash and take him out for a walk he seems to come alive. My Maltese Poodle mix runs happily along on the leash and seems a normal pup. He is definitely house trained. But bring him in and sit him down and he sits like a stuffed dog!
He is perfect when I groom him and never offers to move or pull away. He seems to love being brushed. I clean his teeth - no problem; clean his ears - no problem.
He was recently castrated and has a collar on to prevent him reaching the stiches. Could this possibly be what has him sooooooo depressed?
Other than being depressed, my Maltipoo is the absolute perfect pet. My husband and I love him and are try to coax him back to being a real, lively, happy dog and not a sad and depressed boy.
Help! Any ideas. He will not come for treats and cannot be bribed!

Dexter is a very funny Maltipoo who is my adorable little baby. We treat him like he is human. One of the funny things he does is he sniffs food before he decides to eat it hahaha and he is ball crazy! He loves to swim in summertime and loves to go for his walkies. He is very special to me. He loves going to the groomers he is just one pampered doggy!
I got Dexter when I was going through a huge break up and he has kept me smiling ever since! He was born 23/3/07 and he is 4 years old now. He is an apricot coloured Maltipoo but I think he has more Poodle in him. He is very smart very playful and everybidy just loves him when they meet him!

Our 1st baby, Lucy "lulu" Mae Diaz
Lulu, is a 2 y/o Maltipoo spoiled brat! She, loves to play. She will make ANYTHING into a toy, which means she has bags & bags of toys! When I say she is spoiled, I mean it. If mommy or daddy walk in w/ bags, she goes straight inside, sniffing for a new toy! Needless to say, I always pick her up a little something! Lulu sleeps in the bed (she wont sleep ANY place else) cuddled up behind her daddys knees all night. I got my Maltese Poodle mix as I birthday gift, (begged & re searched all kinds of breeds for months) to this day I would NEVER trade her for any amount of money! She is a daddys girl, but shes mommys little Maltipoo baby!

My Maltipoo Kady will be 1 year old on July 16, 2010. She weighs in at a whopping 7 3/4 pounds. Cream colored with wavy hair, Kady needs to be combed daily. This is an easy task, as her hair is very silky. I have just had her groomed into a "summer" cut, and she looks just like a stuffed "My Little Pony." Cute doesn't begin to describe her.
She is smart, funny, and playful. She loves wrestling with my 10 pound cat and play fighting with my 14 year old toy poodle. She barks very little. She is also the most gentle dog I have ever met.
Kady is shy around strangers, but comes around quickly with a little attention. She kisses and curls up in my lap frequently. Another Maltipoo is definitely on my list. Kady is an absolute love!

Sugar found me while I was searching my local animal shelters for a Shi Tzu pup. She is an adorable albino Maltipoo. I immediately paid the adoption/ medical fee, then had to wait a day for her surgery and micro-chipping.She was approximately 9 months old at adoption, and absolutely wonderful. She always wants to be near me, loves to play, sits on the back of my chair/ couch behind my head. She is very smart, has learned sit, wait, lay down, roll over, dance, sit up, and enjoys walks off her leash. She loves to play fetch, keep away, and tug o war. She also works! The original Maltese were bred for pest control, and my Sugar has killed several mice and rats that have invaded our neighborhood during this drought. I limit her sun exposure to prevent sun burn and she doesn't need any other concessions for being an albino.
Love my Maltipoo pup!
