My Mauzer dos is sweet, playful, and determined. What would I do without her? I think Maltese Schnauzer dogs are the best!

Cooper is just the best little Mauzer dog in the world! My family has 2 yellow labs and little Cooper was given to us by a friend. We tried to find him a home, but at 4 weeks old and less than 1 pound, we didn't really try TOO hard. And, thank goodness we didn't.
He has made such an impact on our family. Our Maltese Schnauzer mix is such a character. He is about 14 pounds but no one told him. He thinks he is a full blown LARGE BREED. He protects all of us like we are his children.
He is super smart and brings back each toy that you ask him to find. How does he know the difference between a cow, a pig, a bunny, etc? It's amazing. He gets along very well with all humans, and most dogs. Our Mauzer goes to work with me almost every day, and if I don't take him, he sits in the window all day waiting for my return. We take him literally everywhere we go if we can get away with it.
I would LOVE to hear back from anyone out there that has gotten this mixed breed from a breeder. Cooper's litter was an "accident", and they will not be having any more. I don't want another dog at this time, but would love to just know who has had a good Mauzer breeder experience when I am ready to take on another family member. I don't know what I would do without one of these wonderful lil guys! (or girls).

Chesty is a one year old male Mauzer. He got him when he was eight weeks old. He was just a little fluffy thing with four legs. He is incredibly smart. He is also stubborn. He can do many tricks and learns really quickly. House training was a snap. Crate training was so easy. His hair is so soft and he does not mat at all. I think he will be no more than 10 or 12 pounds. He is very athletic and runs like the wind. He was a wonderful addition to our family. I actually believe he talks to us. He would never ride in the back seat and must be in the front...He is very good with children and most dogs, though he is definitely an alpha dog. There is very little that he misses...He does not like strangers in our yard, though he tolerates the neighbor dog and likes to play with her. He is a good traveler, if he is in the front. Chesty does bark. That is the only negative about him, but I think that is typical of most small dogs. He is fairly low maintenance. He will walk with you or he will lie beside you. We would highly recommend this hybrid dog. One of the reasons we wanted a Mauzer was low dander , shedding, and size. But if you want a boring dog, do not get a Mauzer. If you want a cute, fun, smart dog, get a Mauzer.

My Mauzer dog is such a little lover. Loves children and people in general. Very smart, doesn't miss a thing that is going on around him. Great personality. Playful, funny and energetic. Thinks he's a big dog. House-breaking is going very good.
Considering Pet Partners program through the "Delta Society's Pet Partners program which trains volunteers and screens volunteers and their pets for visiting animal programs in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, schools and other facilities." To learn more go to http://www.deltasociety.org/Page.aspx?pid=183 I think Rascal would be an awesome addition to the team due to his love for people. Our Maltese Schnauzer has brought a lot of joy into our home and lives.
We got Rascal at almost 10 weeks old, he is now 13 weeks old and doubled in weight, 4.2 lbs. now. So thankful for this little bundle of joy.

We have a 4 year old, 17 pound white Mauzer named Blizzard. He is extremely friendly & loyal. He loves running & playing with children & other dogs, both big & small! He is very intelligent... he was house trained in two days and knows his toys by name. He loves taking trips in our RV and making friends with everyone along the way! I don't know how I ever lived without my little Blizz! He is such a sweetheart!

My Mauzer puppy Triton is a cross between a purebred Miniature Schnauzer and a Maltese at least that is what we think he is. He's very smart he wakes me and my family up if he has to go to the bathroom.
He loves bones, I think he just needs a shave because the fleas are just bugging the crap out of him. He always begs for food, when my grandpa came to town with his dog bogey, Triton thinks he's his dad so he attacks bogey and try's to play with him but bogey doesn't want to play because he's thirteen, well there's one more thing, he hates cameras.
My Maltese Miniature Schnauzer mix is four months old and almost house broken. Well that's almost everything I know about Triton.

Katie is 9 1/2 y.o. female Mauzer dog. She is very friendly and loving. She's also very smart and can be bossy at times. A great little companion dog and does very well when left alone. Something that we had to work on at first but leaving her alone for short periods of time and gradually increasing that time worked out well. Praise and reward seems to work well with her. We have a routine that she seems to like. My Maltese Schnauzer mix has no health problems and I hope to keep it that way for a long time. she's the perfect dog for me and I love her very much. Would recommend this Maltese hybrid if you are looking for a great little family dog or just a companion.

Meet my Mauzer Max! He's a 3 month old spitfire who's very smart, playful, and well-behaved. He has a 3 year old mini Schnauzer brother named Oliver who he loves to play tug of war with. They also like to snuggle together in their kennel. If you decide to bring home a Mauzer know that you will be bringing home the most loving, cuddly, smart, playful, energetic pup you could ever ask for!
He is a six month old Mauzer. He is black with a white goatee and white on his chest, that is now spreading in a silvery streak across his shoulders and up onto his back.
He is such a friendly little dog to every one, especially my two children. He thinks my 3 year old is his litter mate and thus tries his best to chew and tug on her. He loves my 2 months old son, and vise versa. He is a little destructive at times, especially if we go somewhere and don't take him with us. He loves to ride and hates being left alone. If even one of us leaves he is on the back of the chair or couch face pressed hard to the window crying as he watches you leave. He chases my vacuum cleaner, which is funny unless the baby is asleep, cause the dog barks louder than the vacuum. He is a snuggler and will even get under the covers if he gets cold.
I have never been a person that spent money on dog other than to buy him food. I was always the person that rescued the stray from along side the road. Last year when I was told by my land lady that my Pit Bull mix was to big for the what she had specified on the lease, I was forced to find him a new home. That left my 3 year old daughter a mess and I just couldn't do that to her, so we went looking for a dog. I came across this breed in the newspaper and it was within the budget I had, so I took a look at them on the net and thought we would go look at the litter, it was the best choice of my life, other than marrying my husband.
I love this little Mauzer dog, and when I have a bigger place I may just get a few more of them. Oh I almost forgot that when we brought him home he collected things from each of us that he claimed his own, first a fuzzy pillow from my daughter, then a pair of slippers from my husband of the same fuzzy material, and then from my mother in law a scarf that again was of the same fuzzy material, which I might add all feels like him. Well that's about it, I love this little guy and would recommend this breed to anyone.
