Rosie is everybody's best friend! Our Maltese Schnauzer mix, or Mauzer, loves kids and is positively ecstatic for "her boy" to get off the bus in the afternoon. She is masculine enough for her Infantryman "Daddy" to take on hikes through our Northern NY home, she loves to camp although she isn't too crazy about the water she will lay on the beach with you while you read. She keeps me company so well during training excercises and deployments, she's such a Godsend to our family. She patiently puts up with the at time overzealous affection of our three year old. Our home would not be nearly as happy as it is without our Mauzer Rosie!

My Mauzer is very family orineted, affectionate little girl. She is the perfect lap dog and cuddler. And at 10 years old she still loves to play and run around, she loves our 3 yr old border collie, and will correct him when she thinks he needs it. Brittney also is very bossy when she visits her grandmothers cats and will chase them out of the room. Brit also is extremely protective of our house, she is quite loud when people come to visit, but once she ok's them she is
greeting them with love! Our Mauzer weighs 9lbs and needs brushed daily. I groom her myself about every two months. She looks great with a mini Schaunzer cut, but looks good with long or short hair. She does not shed!

I purchased my Mauzer Buster from a Craigslist ad. I was looking for a playmate for my Schnoodle, Rilee. Buster had been abused by men. He startles easily and is skittish, but has come a long way. He is the sweetest dog & lets me cuddle him like a baby.
He has fit right into our family. He is primary black, but does have some white areas under his chin and feet. I am so happy that I adopted my Mauzer! He had been abused and he is so loved now and he shows his gratitude every day. He is so lovable.

I got my Mauzer Bunny 4 years ago and she is my baby. I love her to life, she has about a million names such as; Roxxie, Bunny, those are the most common and Bun bun, Nubble, Bing, Bungy, Princess, Beebee etc. My Maltese Schnauzer mix is definitely a mama's girl. She is probably the most loyal thing to me in this world :) I hope she never dies which... I know someday she will, I only wish I could clone her I'm obsessed with her.
She goes nuts when I have to go to work or leave but when I get home I'm always well greeted she will bark so high pitch it sounds like shes screaming, she loves "treats" and knows what that means when I say it. My Mauzer knows lots of words like potty, treat, mommy, daddy, kiss, walk and etc. She loves to play, when she gets real happy she'll run in circles and I will say "Bunny RUN A RACE!" and she just goes nuts it's so funny, shes such a delight. Bunny is everywhere I am she once broke off her leash to catch up to me at a gas station once, if I'm in the bathroom she's right behind me, if I get up to go to the kitchen she's right there.
She is just like a little person I tell her all the time shes a person I have pictures of her sitting like a human on her own when we sleep she sleeps with just her head on the pillow like me, when I pick my Maltese Schnauzer up she sits right on my left hip like a baby, she lets me cradle her like a baby. I have become so attached to her I always tell my family jokingly I will need therapy when Bunny dies. The day I graduated she also wore a little tassel.
My Mauzer was raised only around me and my grandparents so she is not used to children she also don't like bikes, scooters, etc she will chase someone on one but she has gotten better with these things since I've moved out on my own. Bunny loves "lovins" and attention, she will often mope around if she doesn't feel shes gotten enough attention of course we all get busy but I always make time for my bun bun

We got Rascal at almost 10 weeks old. He is now 13 weeks old. He is very smart, doesn't miss a thing that is going on around him. He loves people, especially children. He gets very excited when he hears a child's voice. I think that he'll make a wonderful therapy dog. "Delta Society's Pet Partners program trains volunteers and screens volunteers and their pets for visiting animal programs in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, schools and other facilities." http://www.deltasociety.org/Page.aspx?pid=183
We are presently working on potty training, which is going great! Where ever we go he gets a lot of attention. He is so cute! He is a real ham when it comes to getting his picture taken. He is truly a blessing and has added a lot of joy into our lives.

My Mauzer is approx. 8 yrs old very lovable, but a picky eater. She has developed separation problems from her owner and will sit at the door when he is not home, or look out a window and watch for him.
She is very good with children but has the attitude of a large dog and will chase other animals off.
Sony is a white Mauzer.
Hi is 11 years old and very active.
Sony likes to play with his stuffed animal hipo.
Sony is also an exelent watchdog, who loves to bark at every person that comes to my house.
If there was an award for best dressed mauzer sony would defenitly win.
Sony takes plenty pride in his many outfits.
Sony finds it difficult to stay clean and will always protest when its time to take a bath.
His favorite way of protesting is by rolling on his back.
My name is Clarita and Sony is the best mexican mauzer a girl could have.

I have owned several dogs in my life.... nothing beats my Mauzer. very people friendly, and likes people around, so if your thinking of one. Make sure someone will be home most of the time. His very 'grown up' for 'his' age.
Loves playing tag and tug a war. but not ball or fetch games.. VERY VERY easy to train, 'Tog is very timid, not sure if that's just him ,or a breed 'thing'.
Black and white fur that DOES NOT come out all over the house. Every time I take him out, we get comments "how cute he is."
Tog now 8 years old, As he has aged his colour pattern has changed .. there is less white on his face now.
Wouldn't go to bed without him.

My son and daughter in law bought me my Mauzer Bailey for my birthday two years ago and he`s the smartest and most loving, playful dog I`ve ever owned. He has the perfect personality. My granddaughter can take food right out of his mouth and he wouldn`t bite a flea !!!! He gets along well with all other animals too! I`ve taught my Mauzer how to speak, sit, stay, shake hands, high five, roll over, fetch and I`m not done yet. I couldn`t love this little dog more than I do.
