Her mom was a Yorkie and dad was a Maltese She is a gorgeous color w/ only a small amount of black in her tail. She is 12 wks now and weighs 3.7lbs.
She is very energetic and is quite the Diva. People stop me everywhere we go and fall in love... I love my Chloe!
Morkie Puppies - Sophia

Sophia in her new Christmas dress
We just got one of the cutest Morkie puppies Sophia, "Sophie" for short 4 days ago, and she already seems to have made the adjustment to her new home. Of course we baby her, she is only 12 weeks old and was the runt of her litter, but we hardly hear her cry, only time is when she wants to come out of her crate. I discovered that she does like to just sleep with me, and she will sneeze on me and nudge me when its time for her to get up. I take her right to her potty pad and after a few times of putting her back on it, she does her business. She has only had a handful of accidents, I am very impressed.
Sophia has learned 'no' and will look up at me when I say it, put her tail down and just seems to know 'no = no, don't do that'. Our Morkie puppy is very affectionate and wiggles her tail and runs to everyone as they come in the door with every ounce of her body, its so cute. When she is playful, she runs in circles and grabs at her potty papers, or anything she can tug around, its pretty hysterical being the potty papers are about 4 times her size!
One concern I do have is in introducing our Morkie to my very dominant female German Shepherd. Her name is Isabelle, she is great with our cats, but that process was slow and careful too. We have kept them separate so far, Isabelle has sniffed at Sophie while I hold her and come into the room we have most of Sophie's stuff in and sniffed around, but she is so big compared to Sophie and as I stated is very dominate to any of the other dogs. Sophie's breeder said to introduce them little by little over several weeks, also even after, to not leave them unattended. Which won't be an issue as Sophie will come everywhere with me or be safely in her crate in her own room. Any advice on this?

Ayla 10 weeks
Well we had a few problems after getting one of the tiniest Morkie puppies Miss Ayla. She had a hypoglycemia attack and she almost died. But she is full of Spice these days.
She is 10 weeks old in this pick and growing fast. She is doing tricks, sit, stay, come, and shakes your hand. She is very energized puppy.
Loves to play hard sleep eat and nibble on your hands. We love her soooo much.

Winston at 3 weeks ( far right)
Well from the minute I was handed Winston he has been my whole life! Morkie puppies are the greatest!
He is really the sweetest little boy in the whole world, although sometimes he is a puppy and he gets to me... lol. He always warms my heart with a lick of his tongue! He can be stubborn but with serious consistency your Morkie will be trained... patience is the key.
He lights up my life every time I look and him and for anyone considering a Morkie... I say YES!!!!!!
Morkie Puppies - Bella
by Karly

Beautiful Bella
Bella is one of the cutest, funniest Morkie puppies I have ever met!!! She is 12 weeks old and full of spunk! She can be a cuddly little love bug at one moment and then be running around the house stealing the kids toys at another moment!
She's still biting so she drives my kids crazy, won't even let them sit on the floor! She likes to steal my daughters toys and then she runs around the house 100 miles an hour so you can't catch her. She's still in puppy mode so her only real cuddle time without biting is when she is tired.
She is sooo... cute you can't help but want to stare at her. She gets along good with her older sister Boxer Tyson. She bites Tyson and Tyson lets her!
The reason behind getting a Morkie was that I love the Maltese personality and the Yorkie coloring. Bella's dad was a Yorkie and her mom a Maltese so she got that soft fluffy hair which I love! She is a great addition to our family and we are so happy she is here!
Morkie Puppies - Cricket and Bailey
by Barbara
(Charlottesville, VA)
Cricket and Bailey the Morkie puppies
Cricket and Bailey's mom is a Yorkie and their dad is a Maltese. They were the product of an accidental breeding between a champion Yorkie and Maltese.
Cricket looks like his Yorkie mom and Bailey looks like his Maltese mom. Cricket is a "jumper" - loves to jump up and down on the sofa, and Bailey is the quiet one and rather timid. Cricket is 6 pounds and Bailey is 7 pounds. Bailey's hair is like cotton and Cricket's is very soft and silky.
They are both very good watch dogs and love playing with their sister Angel, who is also a Yorkie Maltese mix and 4 years old.
Morkie Puppies - Jenkins
by Felicia Santone
(Pennsylvania, USA)
Utilizing the "sit" command that he learned so quickly to get an adorable shot.
Jenkins is one of our Morkie puppies that is just over eight weeks old. The first day we brought him home, he was alert, cuddly, and mellow. He wagged his tail constantly and instantly bonded with our Boxer. He torments the cat but she is warming up to him gradually. The first thing we did when we brought him home were brush him, bathe him with tearless puppy shampoo, blow dry him (he wagged his tail constantly after the initial startle of the noise) and brush him again. His nails needed to be trimmed and his toe hairs trimmed but I didn't want to overwhelm him so I let that go for a couple days.
He is the smartest pet I have owned, and I've owned many. He comes and looks at you when you call his name after two days in our home. I taught him to sit yesterday in only eight minutes (he does it consistently, even without treat; it was not a one time fluke). Every day he seems more energetic and his personality shows even more. He enjoys cat toys more than dog toys because of their size and jingly bells inside of balls. His other favorite toys are anything soft and stuffed. Anything you move across the ground, he chases. I'm guessing this is his terrier side. He only barks in play and only at certain toys and our dog. He tries to bully the older dog, but she just pins him to the ground with her big paws and ignores him as he tries to break free. One minute he is running crazily and chewing on Aurora, the Boxer's, jowls and the next minute he's collapsed on his side sleeping like a rock, cuddled up to Aurora.
Because we got Morkie puppy in Winter, we bought him a coat and sweater. He loves the sweater, but his legs don't go through the coat's sleeves so he topples over. We don't use the coat yet. He is just about housebroken after these few short days. He still has pee accidents in the house every so often, but he has constant access to water. He is being crate trained and has had no accidents in his crate. He goes outside every time to poop.
He loves my sisters (ages 11 and 13) as well as my 2 year old nephew. We have to watch him extra carefully around my nephew because he follows him everywhere and would get stepped on otherwise. My mother has wanted a small breed dog, either a Maltese or Yorkie, for some time now and she finally has him. She expected something more mellow I think, but Jenkins is filled with boundless Yorkie energy! Until he drops to the floor for a nap, he runs all over the house, jumps into our laps if we're on the floor, brings us toys, spins all over the floor, chases the cat, annoys the dog, and tries to chew everything in sight. She is totally in love with him though.
Our Morkie is fun to watch, loves to be cuddled and played with constantly, he listens (for a little while) when we clap our hands and say no, and he learns so fast. He is not at all what I expected, but I wouldn't trade him for anything. He is the best little puppy ever.
Morkie Puppies - Alexander

(Amarillo, TX)
Alexander (the great!)
Alex the Morkie puppy is quite the little character!
He plays with the cats (who are both at least 3 times bigger than he is), and runs the house, and has the best personality! He does this cute little thing with his tongue where he has it out (like a person does when they are hard at a task or thinking).
He's just over a pound and you'd think he was a wolf the way he carries on. =)
Morkie Puppies - Bailey

Beautiful Bailey Morkie
Oh where do I start. My Morkie puppy is 3 months old and about 3 1/2 pounds... oh yeah, and a little ball of fire!
I have a Yorkie, and my friend has a Maltese... I love the personalities of both dogs so I bought Bailey. I can definitely see the traits of both dogs in her. She likes to be held just like a baby, I love that. She is very smart like a Yorkie, I taught her to sit and stay for a treat until I say ok in 1 day. On the other hand she is kinda clumsy like a Maltese.
She is a very lovable dog and loves to give kisses. She also has a very bad case of separation anxiety. If I leave the house for more than an hour, I have to pick her up and hold her for about 10 minutes until she stops crying.
She really enjoys batting her ball around the kitchen floor like a cat... hilarious. If she hears a noise, she starts whining and runs and sits on my lap, then she starts barking... she's a tough girl!! I couldn't and wouldn't trade my Morkie puppy for the world!!
Black and White Morkie Puppies - Maggie
by Trish K.
Maggie is 5-1/2 months old and weighs about 8lbs. She is one of the cutest Morkie puppies with black and white markings on her chin, chest and paws.
Maggie was a Christmas gift from my husband and was totally unexpected! I fell in love with her the second I laid eyes on her! My Morkie dog is the most loving, playful dog I have ever been around! She loves to play with her stuffed toys (tweety & teddy bear) and play fetch with her baseball.
She loves her clothes & hair bows. She has accumulated quite a wardrobe. She goes to work with me everyday and thinks she runs the office. She recently completed basic training where her teacher nicknamed her "Maggie the social butterfly."
I simply cannot imagine life without her!
Morkie Puppies - Layla

Aren't I adorable??
Layla is one of the most adorable 5 month old Morkie puppies who loves to play. She weighs about 5 1/2 lbs now and is sooo full of energy.
She loves to get your attention and play tug of war or just sit on your lap, that is after she has licked your face thoroughly. My Morkie puppy is always happy and greets you with love and kisses whenever you come in the door, even if you just went out and came back in.
She is our youngest of 5, 3 kids and 2 four-legged kids. Layla's brother Skooter is a 5 1/2 yr old Yorkie who weighs 4lbs. We love them to pieces.

Smile for the camera
This is a picture of when I first got one of the best Morkie puppies Izzy. She was four months old and sooo cute. As you can she would even smile for a picture!
She loves to bounce all over the yard like a bunny. She loves to play with my two cats and my Yorkie Molly.
Morkie Puppies - Jack and Jill

Our girls with Jack and Jill
We got our Morkie puppies Jack and Jill when they were 9 weeks old. We traveled a week later to my in-laws who a week later adopted one and so did my sister in law.
Her husband has brain cancer and it is a companion for him. All 4 Morkies are such lovable dogs that just love to sit with us.
Morkie Puppies - Mork and Mindy
by Sue Nott
(Westminster, CA USA)
My Morkie puppies came to live with me and my Yorkshire Terrier 2 months ago.
Mork is really a Dork. Really funny the class clown. Mindy was really shy at first. Doing much better now as she is getting older and getting out to the beach more.
Potty training with my Morkies was finished in about a month. Constant reminders every hour. They both slept through the night right away. First thing in the morning it was off to the yard in my arms. No stopping on the way. It has been almost two months and we have no more accidents in the house.
Very smart quick to learn, what I want of them. Barking is still an issue. We will continue to work on that. Love them both great little dogs.
The hair grows faster than on my Yorkie. Both got bigger than my Yorkie. Mork is 3 pounds bigger than Mindy.

Morkie Puppies - Pookie

Pookie sleeping on her bear
My Morkie puppy is almost five months old now. I couldn't be happier I got this dog. I have held out on buying a dog because I wanted it to be the perfect fit. I read about Morkie puppies and that same day, I bought one.
She is the sweetest thing in the whole world. Friendly, loving, cuddler, playful and easy to take care of. I couldn't believe how from day one I knew this dog was perfect for me. I live in an apartment and she loves it because of her size. I don't take her outside to use the bathroom just potty mats which she uses, most of the time. Potty training is hard but shes getting there.
I haven't done obedience with her yet but she has learned to play fetch and sit already. They are so smart! I would recommend this breed to anyone and everyone that meets my dog just loves her, she's a showstopper.

Romeo.... The Prince... of Morkie puppies
Romeo is the prince of our house! He is 4 and a half month old Morkie puppy and is very lovable!
We live in a high rise apartment building and have litter box trained him. This has worked out wonderfully and leaves our walks as social outings.
He loves to be with us and goes just about every with us. He loves to be outside and play with his toys!
Morkie Puppies - Jazmine (Jaz) Jolie
by Anne G.
(Lafayette, LA)
My girl at 6 weeks old
My Morkie puppy is now 4 months old and had a wonderful personality. I owned a Maltese for 10 years. She was my precious girl. She passed away in November and I was very lonely. I didn't have the heart to get another Maltese because I couldn't look at her every day without thinking about Jolie.
I was lonesome for a new friend and began looking for a similar breed (small, no shedding, loves kids, etc). I talked to a breeder who gave me website to look at her puppies available. I fell in love with my Morkie Jazmine. I see more of a Yorkie personality (my neighbor has one), but sweet, loving and smart!! She loves other animals, kids, adults - you name it. She is such a tomboy even though she looks prissy. She is now about 4 lbs.
I would love to hear from other Morkie puppies parents and share pics. I am curious to see what she will look like when she is grown.
Morkie Puppies - Willow
by Becky Saxe
(New Paltz, NY, USA)
Willow
Our Morkie puppy is now 15 weeks old and has blended with our family very well so far. He comes from champion lines, with a Yorkie father and a Maltese momma. He is mostly laid back during the day, but has his very hilarious hyper moments in the evening. He will run around the house as fast as he can, trying to release some energy - of which he has a great deal.
He already knows how to sit and stay, and he has crate trained perfectly so far. He is nosy and likes to know what we're doing. He enjoys snuggling with us and does well when he's left alone for a few hours. Willow has a wonderful prance when he has something in his mouth that he's not supposed to have. It's like he knows he's getting away with something and is happy about it! He's great with my kids (ages 3 and 9). Just this morning, one of the kids was crying, and our Morkie puppy went over and sat in their lap as if to provide comfort.
He is still teething, so like most puppies, he likes to chew on things and is still learning what things are appropriate to chew on. Right now, he's 3.5 pounds - and will possibly get to be somewhere between 5-8 pounds when he's full grown. Time will tell!
Morkie Puppies - Pixie May
by Patricia
(Somerset NJ USA)
Pixie May
Pixie May is one of the best 5 month old Morkie puppies. I've had her for a month now. She is energetic, but to the point where it is very controlled. She is a bundle of joy and loves to snuggle. Does not like to kiss, but will bump you with her nose. Hates to get her hair brushed or clipped so this will be a great task for me.
She is a good eater and is trained well on her leash and is housebroken. My Morkie puppy is very short so stairs are hard for her, but she manages. She will weigh in at a total of 7 lbs when she is full grown. She may look innocent, but watch your shoes... and tissues... Love her.
Morkie Puppies - Shiloh
This is Shiloh, one of the best Morkie puppies ever. She's about 10 weeks in this picture. She's a bundle of energy and pure joy! We loved her from the first day we laid eyes on her!
The one thing that we've noticed so far with her that stands out is that she has such a gentle, and sweet personality. Our Morkie puppies been around A LOT of people in her short life and seems to just take it all in stride. She loves everyone!
She DOESN'T like baths... or car rides but she is getting better at both of them as we slowly expose her to both of them.
We've only heard her bark a couple times. We were told that her parents are not barkers and we are hoping that she'll be the same.
Potty training is another story! Very slow-going! Which seems to be consistent with what we've read about Morkies. She is paper trained and she will go outside, but basically my husband and I are the ones trained as she's not even big enough to take the stairs leading out to the backyard. :(
I'd recommend a Morkie to anyone but please do not buy from a breeder!! Puppy Mills MUST be stopped!!!!
Morkie Puppies - Jedi
by Missy Thurber
(Pawtucket, RI, USA)
Jedi @ 2 days old
My Morkie dog Jazz-min and my Morkie Jupiter had a litter of 5 Morkie puppies on 5/24/10. 4 boys and 1 girl, all different colors. One Black and Gold, One Gold, One White, One chocolate brown and finally one Grayish Blue with white.
Has anyone ever seen a Morkie this color before? He is such a doll! He was the biggest one in the litter and the last to be born!
Jedi will be given to my brother and sister in law for my niece and nephew as their first pet :)
Morkie Puppies - Billy
by Morkie lover
(Ireland)
Billy the day we got him
I would recommend Morkie puppies to anyone looking for a companion. We got our baby Morkie in September 2009 when he was very little. He's just the funniest character and he's so energetic but at about nine o'clock every night he gets into bed himself and falls asleep.
It took us a good while to toilet train Billy but now he knows to go out the back.He is like the silent dog he never makes a sound(well only when he has to go toilet)but when he barks it not a woof sound its more like a sneeze.
When he wakes up in the morning and its cold in the kitchen he goes over to the electric fire and sit there for us to turn it on.
He's the greatest dog and I would highly recommend a Morkie as a companion dog.
Morkie Puppies - Bentley

Bentley is one of the most active Morkie puppies. He loves to play with the cat. Very suspicious.
Bentley has a bold personality for his size, and is very popular amongst the neighborhood. Everyone loves our Morkie puppy.

Which is the stuffed animal?
This little boy is so adorable and full of mischief. My Morkie puppy is 5 months old and weighs 5 pounds. (Wondering how big he will be.)
He puts everything into his mouth that he isn't supposed to. He greets you at the door full of excitement and gives you many kisses, while his little ears lie flat on his head. He follows me around everywhere I go.
People on the street will stop to comment and ask what kind of dog he is. I was once told by a woman that she thought he was a child's toy while I was carrying him. :)
We are crate training. He does so good during the night. During the day is a different story. How can you stay mad at such an adorable little face?
UPDATE: I am now 9 months old. See what I look like now!
