Papitese Puppy - King Maxx
by Brittany
(Rhode Island)
My Papitese puppy Maxx is such a good baby. He's 6 months old & LOVES to go outside & run around the yard with my cat, & is just finally getting the hang of walking on a leash. Cuddling is his his favorite & nobody is safe from his thousands of kisses. My Papitese barks & growls at himself in the mirror.
He's about 5 pounds & has adorable coloring (grey & white when his hair is long, tan & white when he's cut). Knows nothing but "wanna eat Maxxy?!" (runs to his bowl).
Papitese Puppy - Bentley

at 5 weeks.
Bentley is my little Papitese puppy. H is 7 weeks old (we fully weaned at 5 weeks!!) and he is the most playful, precious little furball I could ever love.
Because of my area where I live, I had to train him to let me know if he needs to go out. He now fully (in 1 week!) understands to tap the door with his nose if he has to go out.
He is the perfect little dog so far and I am so happy I chose a Papillon Maltese mix.
Papitese Puppy - Jazz

Jazzy <3
My Papitese puppy is named Jazz (or Jazzy bear). She is super intelligent and is the best cuddler in the world!
She gets along very well with other animals but she can get a little too rough with other small dogs. She loves chewing up everything so we go through a lot of toys.
She is very sweet and does very well with small children. I would recommend one to anyone!
Papitese Puppy - Evee

Evee
Evee is a wonderful Papitese puppy. We had 2 Siberian Huskies but lost them both within the past 2 years. I decided I wanted a small house dog and that's exactly what Evee is.
She is almost 7 months old and weighs just about 3 1/2 pounds. She has a great personality and loves playing outside. My vet warned me that she probably wouldn't like being outside but we can't get her to come in sometimes. She absolutely loves jumping in snow. She looks like a snow bunny.
The only problems we have are that she won't stop biting everything and everyone. We're hoping that will stop as she gets older. Also, she will not come when we call her. Real stubborn. And, like others, her hair matts easily. I've been using a leave in conditioner that seems to help.
Evee is the perfect dog for our family. She is loved by myself and my husband and our 2 sons plus she is lucky to have a babysitter while we are at work. My parents think it's the best of both world to babysit a Papitese puppy.
Papitese Puppy - Princess
by Cathy Howard
(Ohio, USA)
We bought our Papitese puppy Princess when she was 4 months old she stole our heart from the first sight. Princess is a very lovable dog. We brought her home and started to train her immediately she learned to sit and lay down in two days.
She is a very fast learner very energetic and loves to be with us. I never thought I would own a mixed breed but after getting her I would have lots of Papitese. Best puppy I have ever seen.

When my parents first got Buddy!
My parents got a Papitese puppy about a month or so ago. It was born on April 12th. He is such a loving and loyal puppy! Even though he is not my own, we treat each other as though we are meant to be the bestest friends a dog and guy could have.
Papitese Puppy - Prince Tater Salad
by Connie
(Denver, CO)
He is a very loving and caring 6 month old Papitese puppy. He loves everyone in the family. He like to go on walks but wants to have a long leash and go his own way. He was very easy to potty train and doesn't like to go potty in the house. Likes to play with his toy, he thinks they are alive and tries to kill them, however the balls he will tease you with. Our Papitese will bring them just out of arm lengh then run from you. He plays a game we call chase me around the coffee table and try to catch me. He is soft and has lots of hair but doesn't shed that much. Took about him about 1-2 months learn to sit and stay. Now our Papitese puppy will eat everything in site.

Little Daisy the Papitese
Our little Papitese puppy is a fun loving, energetic dog. Very sweet and playful. All the neighborhood kids love her and even come over knocking asking if she can come out and play. She loves to run and play.
Papitese Puppy - Gizmo
by Brianna
(Florida)
Gizmo is a 4 and a half month old Papitese puppy and is the best dog I have ever had. The minute we walked into the door of my house, he went right on the wee wee pad! I could not believe my eyes!
We got the name Gizmo from the movie Gremlins because of his ears. They stick straight up but you can tell when hes sick or tired because they start to droop.
Gizmo was a birthday present for my daughter who was turning 12 in April. We were looking for a Yorkie but as soon as she saw this Papitese she fell in love! We got such a deal for such a good dog. Only $350! Gizmo is an amazing dog that was worth every penny.
Papitese Puppy - Maui
by Maria
(Frankfort, IL)
I just bought an 11 week old Papitese puppy from a Pet Store, I now regret going to the Pet Store and wish I would have done more research and bought from a breeder.
We brought her home last week at 10 weeks and found out she had coccidosis. She is on medication and is finally looking better, she is a lot more playful now and vocal.
My question is how hard is to potty train. I have a 6 yr old Shi-poo and I don't remember it being so difficult. I know she hasn't hand control of her bowl with the coccidosis, but her stool is finally getting formed so I hope that will change. She has been pooping in her crate which I am attributing to parasite, but last night she peed in crate and again this morning. She doesn't seem to whine to go out to go to the bathroom, she whines after she has already gone and is a mess. Our Papitese only does this at night, during the day I am watching her like a hawk.
Any suggestion as to what to do? Other than going in her crate at night she is a good puppy.

He wanted to play
My Papitese puppy is only 5 months and he jumps up and down when we come home. We live in a apartment. Me and my sister got him for Christmas.
He's a very playful and obedient dog. When he gets in trouble (pee or poop accidents on the floor) with out even yelling he goes straight to his dog house.
He has white gold and a little black hair. And we love him!!!

Papitese Puppy - Bella

(Columbus, OH)
Bells v. The Shoe
Bella, my Papitese puppy, is gorgeous and a super quick learner. She is 18 weeks and pretty much fully house broken and goes up and down the steps all on her own.
She is playful and adorable. She is a chewer, but has learned quickly the kinds of things she shouldn't go after (i.e bras, shoes, and clothes)
We love our BELLS!!
Papitese Puppy - Finnegan
by Lou Levy
(Wexford Pa)
Our first vet visit. 1 lb and 13 oz
We adore our Papitese puppy. It has been awhile since we had a puppy in our home, and Finn is all puppy. Funny thing about him when he eats, sometimes his back legs go up into the air. It's a site to behold.
Our Papitese is going on 9 weeks and we are trying to get him to walk on a leash, and once we get his little legs going, he can move out. I am 6'-5" and it must be a sight to see us walking down the street.

Papitese Puppy - Bella

(Edgewater, FL)
Bella
She is an amazing Papitese puppy. She is a good watch dog and loves to play. When I'm sick she'll lay on me all day long. She is so small, and loves to go places.
I trained her to sit, lay down, roll over, shake, dance and stay. She is a people pleaser and will do what ever you want her to. She is only 5 months old but is already attached to me. As soon as I come home she gets so excited and fallows me around everywhere.
She loves to wear clothes and wears sunglasses too! I took my Papitese to a Mardi Gras dog parade and she got along with all of the dogs and I entered her in a contest along with 200 other dogs and she won the cutest award.
Papitese Puppy - Jelly Bean
by Bridget
(Orange Beach, Al)
I am a Princess!!
My Papitese puppy Jelly Bean was born Oct 1, 2008. She has been with us for one week now. She is adorable!! Very quite and extremely playful. She get's along with children very well. She is a great listener and quick learner. With her playful attitude it is hard not to fall in love.
Her mother was full Maltese and father Papillion. Her ears where down at first but now the are starting to stand up. She is about 2 pounds right now.
You want a dog that loves to be loved, then look no further. Your neighbors will want to steal them away. We plan on having puppies when she is ready ;.)
Papitese Puppy - Phoebe
by April Lattig
(Greensboro)
Phoebe, my little Papitese puppy is a GREAT dog! She gets along with everyone and everything. Her and our 3 year old Pug play fight over toys, chase each other through the house and snuggle with each other during nap time! I don't think she realizes that she is small! :) She is very curious in nature. She loves to watch me on the computer and will follow the cursor around the screen. I even have a great picture of her "blogging" ;)
She is much smaller than I thought she would be. At four months she weighs about 2.5 pounds. The vet thinks she will end up not quite 4 pounds at full grown. That just allows her to go everywhere with me! She very rarely barks and if she does it is because she needs something. I wouldn't even call it barking more like a "helloooo. Can you let me out!"
After losing my 15 year old Bichon Maltese mix Phoebe was the best dog I could have EVER chosen!
Papitese Puppy - Sammy Bell
by Linda Bell
(Lake Forest, CA. USA)
Sammy is exactly the way other people have describe this mixed breed. My Papitese puppy is very loyal, intelligent and affectionate. He always wants to be around everyone but has a special bond with me. The one that stays home with him every day, feeds and takes him for a walk. He NEVER wants to be alone! We have had him now for a little over two weeks and he is almost completely potty trained. By far the easiest dog I've ever had to train. (except for my cats) which he also loves. Sammy is definitely a keeper...
