Rescued Papitese - Frankie

We rescued Frankie from a friend that found him abandoned. The vet determined his age to be about six months. He is friendly and playfull. He is definitely a mix and based on pictures in the Internet he could be a Papitese and hope you can help me identify the breed if not a Paitese.
