This is Hamlet, our Yorkie Maltese puppy. We have had him for only a week now, he's 10 weeks old. He is absolutely adorable and has stolen all of our hearts already. He weighs about 2.5 lbs. Now and I hear that he will be about 6 or 7 lbs.

Boosh is the fourth dog to come into our home and one of the best Morkie puppies. We have three Golden Retrievers, but my wife wanted a "little girl" of her own. Enter Boosh. We got her at 8 weeks old, and she is now 8 months old.
She weighs a little over 6 pounds, and is absolutely fearless. She is not afraid of any of the other dogs, including Nitro, who is my 2 year old 100 pound Golden. Actually, he loves Boosh, but when he barks at her she just barks right back and jumps on his head to get him playing, whether he wants to or not. Our Morkie puppy picks up and carries the big toys that the Goldens play with, and it is so funny to watch her run with a huge frisbee hanging out of her mouth.
Although she was supposed to be mommy's girl, she has quickly taken to daddy, and likes to sleep on my pillow right next to me. She knows to go outside to the bathroom, but she still has accidents in the house sometimes, but if you put a puppy pad down for her somewhere she will always go to that if not outdoors.

Bella is a little doll. Our Yorkie Maltese puppy is very energetic and loves to play with any toy that squeaks. She thinks she is a Great Dane until the person or other animal gets close enough to her and she runs and hides under my feet. We got her when she was 10 weeks old and she's just about 5 months now.
She is a lazy puppy and likes to lay on the couch and snuggle, but there are times when she gets bursts of energy that she runs laps around the house. Our Morkie is very particular in the treats she takes. She does not like the biscuits at all. She would prefer some thing softer or a rawhide. She may be small but our Yorkie Maltese puppy has us wrapped around her little paw :)

Well where to start, my Morkie puppy Cosmo is a little ball of energy. After a long day at work I come home to a very active little guy. He makes my day even better when I see his one pointed ear and little beady eyes.
He loves to play & when bedtime comes he stands by my bed and looks back at me telling me he's ready =]. Cosmo loves to cuddle and give kisses. Morkie puppies are so much fun!!!

I just got my Morkie puppies. I was only getting one, but my mother-in-law said that it would not be right to split up the family, so I got both and I am so happy that I did.
They are 4 months old and are brother and sister. They are great together and are never apart. Luke is on the right. He is six pounds and Lea is a teacup, only going to be 3 pounds!

Ivy is about nine months old now. My Yorkie Maltese puppy is very playful but also can take very long naps. She loves to be held. When I go to put her on my bed at night she automatically takes the "down" or submissive position which is very different than my last dog who I had to chase all over the house to pick up. I'm not complaining but she has only barked once or twice, only cries like a baby when she doesn't get her way. Does anyone else have a Morkie that doesn't bark?

My husband and I named our Morkie puppy dog, Cody. He is very tiny now. He is 10 weeks old and weights 1 pound 3 oz. He has short legs, but he runs really fast. He loves to play chase and being chased. I work from home, so we have his crate in my office, so he can be with me while I work. Cody has his own 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom apartment. :) You'll see his lovely apartment in the picture. LOL We saw Puppy Apartment on YouTube and got the idea to make our crate exactly same setup using the divider. He is very smart and figure out from the day one where he needs to do his business.
Our Yorkie Maltese mix also learned how to sit, stay, come, don't bite and let's go bye bye on commands. I let him run around freely when we are downstairs where there is no carpet. But, I have the hanging door bells by the sliding door to the back yard. He now knows to ring the bell to go out to do the business. I heard from many sources that you should not crate train if you want them to do the business outside, because it will confused the dog. But, not my Cody. He knows already. Of course, he couldn't hold too long if I don't hurry and let him out, but it's my fault and not his fault.
This is our 4th dog (all our previous dogs passed away) and I am sure it will be our last dog. We particularily want the little dog, so that we can take him everywhere we go. We travel quite often and we can't wait to take him with us on our next trip. When I open his travel bag and say "Cody, let's go bye bye" and he jump in to the bag and wait for me to zip the bag up. We just adore our Morkie. This boy is perfect in every way!

I just got my Maltese Yorkie puppy yesterday. She is 3 months old and a very sweet little girl. She weighs about 2 1/2 pounds. She could just lay on my lap all day. I slept with her on the couch last night and she had her little head rested on my arm the entire night. Not once did she squirm, or wake me up.
She is a very gentle, meek baby.
I love her!
Just a question though, my Maltese Yorkie doesn't have much hair, what she does have is very thin... shouldn't she have a thick coat by now? Please look at her and tell me what you think. Her mama is a Yorkie and her papa is a Maltese.
Thank you
